What does it take to build a successful circus school? 🎪👀 At CYD, we were reminded that running a Showtime franchise is about so much more than what happens in the classroom. 🤸‍♀️ From learning from fellow franchisees to sharing ideas, building connections and finding new ways to give our students the best experience possible, there’s always something new to take back to your business. 🤝✨ Here are 5 things we learnt at CYD that can help us keep growing, improving and making a difference in our communities. ❤️ Thinking about running your own business doing something you love? A Showtime Circus franchise could be your next move. 🚀 Get in touch to find out more about becoming a franchisee! 📩 #ShowtimeCircus #CircusFranchise #FranchiseOpportunity #BusinessOwnership #FranchiseLife by @showtime_circus

Our first time at the Super Weekender and we can’t wait! We’re running: Open Sessions Minis Sessions 1:1s (STRICTLY LIMITED) Who’s coming? @superweekenderuk by @showtime_circus
We have a few new followers recently so I thought I’d introduce myself and Showtime Circus! I’m Jolly Jess and before becoming a multi award winning entrepreneur 🥹 I was an equally as many award winning dancer and choreographer. (Alright alright, no one likes a show off Jess 🤪) I performed all over the world as a dancer in pantomimes, musicals, cabarets and on cruise ships. In 2011 I went to a trapeze class (because I dislike the gym) and completely fell in love even though I fell off face first into the mat coming up from a star on the bar in my first class 💪 Cut to just 4 months later and I had been cast in my first ever professional job as an aerialist - earning nearly 4 x what I had done at the same job dancing the year before. My agent at the time went on to tell me that I’d get more jobs the more skills I could do so cut to me learning how to stiltwalk, hula hoop, fire dance and even make my own costumes! I travelled the world with this agency and had the absolute time of my life performing at corporate events all over the world including many TV appearances (DOI, BBC news, Alan Titchmarsh and many films…) and again got to go on luxury cruise ships this time as an aerialist….so with my own cabin 😉 In 2018 when I was touring Europe in Tina Turner the Musical, I decided that I wanted to create something that was mine and so…Showtime Circus was born. A place for children to learn all of the many, many random skills I had picked up on my journey. But more importantly for me, a place without any toxicity or negativity and a place where children could unapologetically be themselves. Of course lockdown came and I had to leave my beloved circus school and area for personal reasons and instead of giving everything up, I fought tooth and nail to make it work without me being physically present and poured my heart and soul into learning everything about franchising. I turned Showtime Circus is into a franchise so the 150+ students in Hertfordshire wouldn’t have to leave their favourite place. Now there are 21+ centres and even more children who experience the joy of circus! I am so proud of Showtime Circus so please continue to follow along! by @showtime_circus
CYA Own choreo final felt like a DREAM 😍 I can’t believe it was a week ago, can we do it again please @cyd_uk ? By far the most beautiful stage many of these performers had been on, what a delight! Here are the results you’ve all been waiting for! Highest mark - you get to perform your solo at International Circus Day Most Promising - you’ve got 3 x months of elite training with me! Thank you to ALL of the schools around the UK who entered students, only the top 3 in each category got through meaning this was a national final and display of incredible talent. Even though it’s ran by us at STC - that doesn’t mean our students get any preferential treatment with many sadly not getting through to the final 3 this year. Thank you to ALL of the schools from around the UK who came to perform for our incredible judges last weekend. See you next year! @lets.getloud @purestudioshereford @showtimecircus_wolverhampton @_elevationstudio @elev8byizabelle @acrosphere_circus_studio @poleandaerialfit_circusacademy @wrightsperformingarts @off_the_floor_aerial_arts @showtimecircusmiltonkeynes @aerial.beats @centrestagedance_glossop @showtimecircusskelmersdale @elitesquadstc by @showtime_circus
