Matthew Rosenstein in "Make Me French!" - come see it at Clear Space Theater in Rehoboth Beach Sunday 7/26 at 5pm

A bagel who dreamed of being a croissant, young Matt Rosenstein longed for a life that was far more sophisticated and interesting than his own. After seeing Les Mis on Broadway, he had one prayer: “Make Me French!” Matt was determined to not just LEARN French but to BE as French as possible and move to Paris - which he did - but not without learning some hilarious lessons along the way. Now, this singer and storyteller extraordinaire wants to share what he’s learned about our most misunderstood ally, through stories and songs - from Broadway showtunes to French disco. Featuring a four-piece band and backup singers, come discover the answers to burning questions such as “why do French people not get fat? Are they rude? Do they hate Americans?”

"Make Me French was the ideal mix of a personal theme and a great story told through humor and excellent songs. With excellent and subtle musical back-up by Cuschieri, Tina Lama on bass and Steve Picataggio on drums, all the elements came together."

Matthew Rosenstein is a New York City–based cabaret performer, actor and singer who is thrilled to be making his Line Up debut! His last two one-man cabaret shows both sold out and earned multiple BroadwayWorld nominations. His latest cabaret, “Make Me French” returns to The Laurie Beechman Theatre this Bastille Day, Tuesday July 14th, after selling out in its 2025 debut, and tells Matt’s hilarious and heartwarming tale as a “bagel who dreamed of being a croissant.” After the NYC show, “Make Me French” is scheduled for a performance in Rehoboth Beach, with other dates to be announced. In addition to his solo projects, Matthew loves to pop up at open mic nights throughout NYC, including Jim Caruso’s Cast Party at Birdland. www.showtunesmatt.com (http://www.showtunesmatt.com/) or @showtunesmatt on Instagram. by @showtunesmatt
