Western Canada’s Most Charming Man’s 44th bday was today and hooo boy is he ever photogenic. Peej, you truly are one of the easiest people on the planet to love, and I’m so lucky to get to call you my BFFalo. Living in different cities hasn’t changed a thing- it just makes me look back on all the times we’ve shared. The countless pizzas and ballgames, the rock shows and road trips, records, naps, hot sauces, cats, jokes, floods, books (get outta here with blood meridian you monster), the late nights, your banker voice, the bike rides, bird games, our pop punk guilty pleasures, that pin racket we ran for a couple months, you with the good advice, me with the bad, the gang vocals, analog smokes, denim jackets with matching patches, art everywhere always, cowboy dreamin’ for those cowboy futures, how much you’re hating this run on sentence …and a hundred more tiny things that make up our friendship.

It’s been a week since we had the most perfect weekend of sunshine, rivers, camping, besties, bocce, cards, dice, lakes, more sunshine, a real campfire, northern lights, ospreys, farm animals, punk rock, a very SHITTY (😉) hotel, and the very best restaurant in the whole Okanagan. Thanks a million to Sarah Dudley, one of Punk Night’s biggest supporters, and a gem of a human, for putting on one heck of a festival in Vernon. It’s no small feat, and her altruism and love of music was on full display. Everyone is coming to @anarchyintheok.fest next year! Sam, Phil, Andrea, and I found the best farm in Enderby to camp at, and even added an extra night it was so good. The weather was perfect, the river was divine, and the company couldn’t have been better. Everyone get to @smallaxeroadhouse as soon as you can! It’s seriously amazing. @beefdipdiaries did a review ❤️ by @shredden

Shoutout to this hunk for being the best caretaker I could ask for, during my recent surgery recovery. I wouldn’t have made it through without his help, and because of it, I’m on the up and up! 💥💥. ALSO.
