Birthday, celebration, family, cake, friends, music, joy, house party, impromptu by @shreya.agg

A #throwback impromptu video of the very talented @shreya.agg when she sang this song for us on a Bunavat shoot day. Felt apt to post today this Ponduru Khadi that we had curated back in 2019. Also remembering our beautiful workspace in Delhi.

A day to ponder and internalize Gandhi ji's famous words - "Khadi is not just a cloth, it is a thought."

Saluting the spirit of khadi and all that it encompasses.

(gandhi jayanti, khadi, handspun, handwoven, swaraj) by @shreya.agg

Beatle, you fulfilled my lifelong dream of having a dog as a sibling. You made home, feel like home. Home will always remind me of us hanging out in the front yard while I irritate you and boop you and how you’d just nudge your entire face in my body so I’d scratch you till you go to sleep!

You will always be my favourite Baaraati🥁 on my wedding day and of course, my most fav brother-in-law! 🌻 No doubts there!

There is nothing you enjoyed more than whiling away our time just sitting and grinning in the park. Look how happy you were in your favourite place! ♥️

(He would JUST NOT GET UP from this spot even at 2 am in the night!!)

This is the first time I met you (having heard so much about you already and dying to meet youuu). Also, fun fact, he would drink water out of a bucket and ALWAYS wipe his face with my saree pallu (I’m told that was his style 🫠🤌🏼)

You reallllly enjoyed your sunlight ☀️ and sitting here enjoying the interplay of Dhoop and Chaon (a game of light and shadow) 🪴🌳🌿🪵

Look at the face you’d make when I’d pull your cheek and the best part? You’d always let me violently love you and smother you with kisses and cheek pulls anytime I wanted! 🦦🐒🐶

You’d always know we’re coming to see you even before we got home and you’d wait for us slyly by the gate and come running, wriggling your tail at us and jumping for allllll the love we missed showering on you when we were awayyy 😭🏃

I absolutely loved my walks with you! I’d hold the leash a little too loose and you’d always pull me to the ends of the world to sniff and poop. You made my dream, of loving a doggo, come true and I will always sit with you in dirt to remember what a zen-dude you were 🧘

You’d smell the flowers I brought you from the park, I’d put them on your ear AND in just one second you would pull the flower apart and show NO SIGN of remorse!!! I secretly loved your straight face, sorry-not-sorry-look my dear one 😒

You’d come to me when I was sad, happy, frustrated and every possible time I felt something big and put your hand on my lap and lick my hand to tell me you’re there for me when I didn’t think I had anyone 🫶🏼🫂

Relationship, enagagement anniversary, love, family, two years, pookie, ethnic, saree by @shreya.agg

Unlike you, I don’t have the power of words to write for you but there’s poetry in life with you everyday. ✨
Walking through forests, catching sunsets, cooking and hogging on food and decorating our beautiful house has been such a delightful journey. From randomly bursting into a couple of lines of your favourite writer, to playing Padma Talwalkar’s music endlessly, to breaking politics and the most bizarre news to me everyday, you’ve crawled love into every corner of my life and how!! I’m super grateful for you and all the love you shower on your people every single day, how dutifully you show up for each one of us!
To building a life, experiencing world adventures together and finding unconditional love even when it seems impossible! Cheers to you and your pookie face. Happy Birthday, love! 🎀 @malaydback by @shreya.agg

by @shreya.agg
