Bouquet practice with late summer flowers 🧡 the peachy linen zinnias are homegrown! One of my favorites from the garden this year.
Also, this variety of drooping amaranthus is called “love lies bleeding” and I think that is Very Cool taken in Fort Collins, Colorado by @shrinkingviolet_flowers

Had tons of fun making this one at a workshop focused on architecture, negative space, and breaking traditional design rules this weekend.
So much movement and awesome texture, and so many flowers that I got to work with for the first time (big purple allium, amaranthus, and even a flowering artichoke). Working with cool product does half the job for me 🖤🪻 taken in Fort Collins, Colorado by @shrinkingviolet_flowers

This past December, I finished a 3 semester long floral design program that I started somewhat on a whim. I never gave my final project a proper moment to shine, so here it is!! 🖤🖤🖤 From just about every angle.
Tomorrow, March 1st, I’ll be selling some dried flower arrangements for the very first time (including the smallest arrangements I’ve ever made 👀) alongside @lousfastfoods and @ruinsbooks at @wobble.hifi from 11-3:30!! See u there maybe?? by @shrinkingviolet_flowers

Very thankful to be asked to do flowers for the @ruinsbooks launch party this week and to contribute in this small way for such a cool and important thing!! 🥀📚

Got to turn a room in our house into a full fledged flower shop for the occasion and mix in some homegrown flowers, too.
Was so excited with how they turned out that I literally could not put the camera down.

Now I’m gonna go read my new books 👀 taken in Fort Collins, Colorado by @shrinkingviolet_flowers
