Friends, family, collaborators: SAVE THE DATE. On December 1, the Jewel Box will host a launch party to celebrate the online release of Love and Feathers, the short documentary I made about my charming cousin. We will mingle, watch the film, and celebrate together. The event is FREE to attend, there will be special guests and surprises, and beverages will be available to purchase from sweet Nan’l behind the bar. I started this project three years ago, and I’m excited to finally send it out into the world. Five years ago today, I married @dustinlev. I wrote this song a few days after we got engaged. I remember playing it for Dustin and crying halfway through it because it was finally all happening! We later sat down and recorded this video before the house was bought, before the kids came along, before the dream of @dustinlevasseurwoodworks was reality, before I accepted a dream job at @portlandsymphony, before 9pm felt way too late, before time went missing, before before before…And every step forward continues to prove a deeper, stronger, more beautiful love.
