» Howdy!
» I just post my doodles (mainly of Greek Mythology [and mainly of the Titans]) here when I can
» Okay bye ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

» Here’s a post of all my updated Titan designs! I originally conceived designs for the Titans back in 2021 & then created colored designs in the summer of 2022. However, I like to think that I’ve improved since then, so I decided to redraw all them just to update their designs! 🧚🏻‍♀️✨😦

» I technically finished the doodles last summer, but I never got around to posting them due to school

» From their original designs, I mainly touched up on proportions, did more detail on certain character’s clothing/hair, and fixed some coloring. You could probably see a few changes across my Instagram page since the Titans are all I draw 🧚🏻‍♀️✨😹

» So many thanks to @mabralo13 for handwriting the Greek name overlay for me because I simply cannot write Greek unless it’s for math or physics 🧚🏻‍♀️✨🤠🫢

» The order I put the Titans in the post are in birth order according to Hesiod’s Theogony. I think out of all twelve, Okeanos & Tethys had my favorite redesign (mainly because I can draw water now 🧚🏻‍♀️✨😀)

» And lastly, absolutely no AI was used in creating this!! I do not support AI art & I would be so offended if someone thought I used AI for my own creations 🧚🏻‍♀️✨😦😒 by @shruggieoof

» The actual Greek Titans in animation?!? Once my friend showed me that some of the original twelve Titans appeared in “Blood of Zeus” Season 3, I immediately had to watch & look at their designs since all I ever talk about/draw are the Titans🧚🏻‍♀️✨🫢

» Credit to @olivetart_ for creating the show’s Titan designs & @bloodofzeus for being the show! I just slapped the clothing/outfits onto my pre-existing Titan characters/designs just to see how it would look (I’m super creative as you can tell)

» This doodle depicts:
• Mnemosyne (Titan of Memory)
• Phoebe (Titan of Prophetic Intellect)

» The following slides are of the two with their BoZ color schemes as well as the show’s model sheets!

» I might draw the other Titans that appeared on the show 🧚🏻‍♀️✨🙂‍↕️

» After wanting to always do this, this doodle is a reimagining of a portion of the Pergamon Altar friezes

» The Pergamon Altar friezes depict an epic scene of the Gigantomachy—a conflict between Gaia’s giants & the Olympians

» This doodle depicts:
• Phoebe (Titan of Prophetic Intellect)
• Asteria (Titan of Falling Stars)
• Two Moss Giants & a Winged Giant

» I like to image the giants Gaia crafted are earthen/“nature-y,” hence the plant-based appearance of the giants

» I really want to continue drawing other parts of the Altar’s friezes one day

» I included the actual portion of the Altar I based the doodle off of on the second slide :)

» Welp, it’s been a good while since I’ve posted, so have a doodle 🧚🏻‍♀️✨🫡😅😇 [Instagram sizing stinks]

» This doodle depicts (Starting on the far left & moving clockwise):
• Asteria (Titan of Falling Stars)
• Leto (Titan of Motherhood & Modesty)
• Artemis (Goddess of the Hunt, Wilderness, and Moonlight)
• Apollo (God of Archery, Poetry, and Sunlight)
• Hecate (Goddess of Witchcraft, Roads, and Magic)

» I wanted to do a night-themed doodle again as well as have “set” designs for the above five deities

» Originally, I was planning to have Asteria & Leto walk on a trail ahead of Hecate, Artemis, and Apollo; however, I felt a little campfire scene would be more homey/familial (Yes, they are all related 🧚🏻‍♀️✨😁)

» Iris defends herself from the Lava-Spewing Giant

» This doodle depicts:
• Iris (Goddess of the Rainbow)
• Lava-Spewing Giant (I call it Paul)

» This doodle is roughly based on the Gigantomachy where Gaia created giants to overthrow the Olympians

» There isn’t much mythological accuracy in this one; I just wanted to draw Iris and Paul again 🧚🏻‍♀️✨😅

» I imagine the giants (besides their mythological snake connections) are based around earthen concepts like lava, rocks, etc due to being straight up creations by Gaia alone

» It’s the spooky, scary month & what’s scarier than a raging, flaming Hestia?

» This doodle depicts:
• Hestia (Goddess of the Hearth)
• Demeter (Goddess of the Grain)
• Hera (Goddess of Marriage)
• Rhea (Titaness of Fertility)
• Themis (Titaness of Justice)

» And in the flashback panel:
• Kronos (Titan of the Harvest)
• Hyperion (Titan of Light)
• Iapetos (Titan of Mortality)
• Gaia (Primordial Goddess of Earth)

» I love to think that Hestia is this calm and collected deity, but when it comes to cooking, she’s Gordon Ramsay

» Also everyone in this comic is related to each other (wow, who knew?) ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

» I really wanted to draw Rhea, so I dug around & found the perfect excuse to draw her—with a redraw! 🧚🏻‍♀️✨🖌️

» In Greek myth, Kronos did indeed swallow five of his kids to try to thwart fate; however, Rhea was able to save her sixth, Zeus, and tricked Kronos into swallowing a rock

» This doodle redraw depicts:
• Okeanos (Titan of the Ocean)
• Rhea (Titan of Fertility/Growth)

» It also features a crude drawing of Tethys—the Titan of Fresh Water & Okeanos’ sister-wife—in a thought bubble

» Okeanos and Tethys also have 6000+ kids ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

» Second slide is the original doodle (it’s over a year old, so it was time for a refresh in design) . . . Also apologies for the rotation; it was the only way for me to fit it all in

» When you successfully castrate your father with your brothers, you gotta celebrate (even if you got your dad’s ichor on you)!

» This little selfie doodle depicts:
• Kronos (Titan of the Harvest // The light orangey one with the bloody sickle)
• Iapetos (Titan of Mortality // The chill gray one)
• Hyperion (Titan of Light // The slightly dazed orange one)
• Koios (Titan of Intellect // The annoyed purple one)
• Krios (Titan of Stars // The miffed red one)

» In one telling of the succession myth, Koios, Hyperion, Krios, and Iapetos pinned Ouranos [their dad] down at the four “corners” of the universe (north, east, south, and west respectively)

» They are all also positioned in a group such that they align with respect to their cardinal direction (Koios – North, Hyperion – East, etc)

» Kronos got the honor of mutilating his dear ol’ dad with some help from his mom ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

» Oh wow, look at that! It’s an actual functional couple from Greek mythology!

» Asteria (Titan of Falling Stars) & Perses (Titan of Destruction) spend a night stargazing

» Asteria & Perses, as much of an unlikely match as it may seem, actually didn’t hate each other like so many other couples

» Also they’re cousins & they have a single daughter: Hecate

» Here is my one post of the month 🧚🏻‍♀️✨🫡

» This is a redraw of a Snapchat doodle I did a bit ago (Snapchat isn’t great with colors >.>) where Hyperion (Right) celebrates seeing his older brother Koios (Left)

» Koios is the Titan of Intellect/Rational Thought & Hyperion is the Titan of Light

» 1) Full doodle // 2) Doodle w/o text // 3) Concept art

» Fun Fact ~ According to Hesiod, Koios is the second oldest of the Titans with Hyperion as the fourth oldest

» Hashtags (Here we go again) ~ #roughanimator #koios #hyperion #siblings #titans #greekmythology #KoiosReallyDoesLikeHyperionSoDontWorry by @shruggieoof

» Here’s a fun doodle comic thing! This was originally based on a mini-story I wrote, as well as a rough draft sketch of said story (I would’ve included the OG doodle, but my cat threw up on it)

» Some background information:
+ Mnemosyne is the Titan Goddess of Memory
+ Hyperion is the Titan God of Light
+ Theia is the Titan Goddess of Sight
+ Hyperion, Mnemosyne, and Theia are all siblings (they are 3 of the original 12 Titans of Greek mythology)
+ Hyperion & Theia are married and their children are Eos [The Dawn], Helios [The Sun], and Selene [The Moon]
+ As hinted in the dialogue, Eos is the oldest, Helios is the middle child, and Selene is the youngest

» Don’t look too much into the family tree 🧚🏻‍♀️✨😋

» {Drawn with RoughAnimator (yes, I know it’s for animation but I’m just accustomed to drawing with it)}
