Introducing Data to AI - a book designed for @rowrowlearn ✦⚡

A project that brought together editorial layout design, information, illustration and a fair bit of problem-solving to make a complex subject feel clear and engaging.

The book cover set the tone for the book that followed - finding a visual idea that captures the central theme of the book and creating a connection with the subject matter, while setting the tone for what comes inside.

Happy to share more of the book design for Data to AI, created for @rowrowlearn. ✨

The book brings together a mix of content - from longer-form text and explanations to data, illustrations, diagrams and smaller pieces of information.

The editorial design was about creating a consistent visual language across all of this, while still giving each section and type of content its own rhythm.

A mix of grids, typography, colour, illustration and information hierarchy helped bring the different pieces together into one cohesive book.

Here are a few pages from the final publication. :)

Good design is not just about the final outcome. A big part of it is understanding what the client is trying to build, asking the right questions, and being able to see the idea from their side.

This is something I really value in the way I work and really grateful to be able to do that ✨
