SHP’s Current Events Club welcomed Sen. Josh Becker for a conversation spanning AI, climate, clean energy, and how to find a career you’re passionate about. In a packed room, students asked thoughtful questions about everything from federal clean energy regulations and AI distillation to 3D printing policies. Sen. Our K–8 community came together today for the first Cultural Celebration of the year, highlighting some of the traditions and stories that enrich Sacred Heart.

Through dance performances, student presentations, and stories of family traditions—from Jewish and Italian heritage to Diwali and LatinX celebrations and homemade cultural dishes—students shared meaningful connections to their cultures while learning from one another.

It may be Halloween week, but it's beginning to sound a lot like Christmas in the Johnson Music hallways! Our middle school chorus and band are rehearsing holiday favorites in preparation for their December concerts -- you can hear their beautiful and reverent notes trickling out into the music courtyard. ✨ #shsmiddleschoolmondays #music #finearts #shsatherton #wearesacredheart by @shsatherton

Serving up support for a great cause! 🏐💕

We were honored to be part of Sacred Heart Schools Atherton’s inaugural Pink Out Volleyball Game, bringing the community together in support of those impacted by breast cancer!

Ahead of the game, the volleyball program hosted a Serve-a-Thon, where family and friends pledged donations for every serve or made a flat contribution. ❤️

Together, the Sacred Heart community has raised an incredible $21,624, with more donations still coming in! 🎉

A heartfelt thank you to the athletes, families, coaches, and the entire Sacred Heart community for rallying behind our mission of providing free programs and services to people impacted by cancer.

The K-8 Feast of Mater Admirabilis liturgy featured third graders’ artwork inspired by Hojalatas (Mexican tin art) to honor LatinX Heritage Month. After the liturgy, students gathered for a traditional goûter of pink cupcakes, with eighth graders and their first grade buddies sharing the sweet treat together. A lovely celebration of Sacred Heart traditions and the connections that strengthen our community! Happy Feast Day!

Our preschool students rolled up their sleeves and got their hands in the dirt during this year‘s Bulbathon! With the help of parent volunteers, students worked together to plant bulbs, explore the soil, and discover how plants begin their journey beneath the ground.

Beyond the garden, the experience offered opportunities to practice teamwork, patience, and care for the natural world. We look forward to watching their hard work bloom in the months ahead!

A special thank you to our parent volunteers for helping make this hands-on learning experience possible.

Robots are coming to life in the Creativity Hub! 🤖 Eighth-grade students in the Robotics elective are building the introductory robot of the year in the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) program, where this season’s game is BioBuzz. This starter bot gives students a foundation to test, refine, and improve their design through iteration—later customizing and adding on to the bot before taking it to competition!
