Happy release day to the Cilla Pants by @meandkiddo.patterns !!!!

SUCH a fun test sew. It’s the first pair of pants I’ve made where the inside is just as beautiful as the outside (all French seams 🤩)

AND probs my fav pocket construction and placement of any pants I’ve made so far!?

I made these in 8oz cotton twill from @stonemountainfabric and they feel like the perfect elastic waistband “hard” pants to me. Would recommend. Will be wearing all fall.

My daughter’s first day of school fit that I made her. Cue the tears 🥲

She has a Thomas book that she is OBSESSED with right now (also made her a Thomas cake for her bday. It was a little less successful hahahaha, swipe for a pic) so I could not resist when I found this fabric at an antique store.

This was my first time trying the @highcountrywomen #hcwlizabeth kids tee pattern which is SO GOOD! For sure will make 10000 more.

AND the pants are the @the.ordinaryfolk #lucapants which I have already made many times and loveeeeeee.

I made these both with fabric from @lyricalfabrics leftover from other projects (for myself, so now we have matching fits) (: by @shtsummermakes

She’s done and she’s perfect 🥲

I am so freaking proud of myself for completing a project that took this long AND included this many new skills. Starting my #hannicardigan by @knittersandfriends I had only completed one simple sweater. This project taught me German short rows, a folded collar, double knitting for the button band, the Italian bind off, buttonholes, and probably so much more that I’m forgetting. It took me from knitting-curious to a full blown knitter (and an obsessed one at that lol).

I’m about to be so insufferable this fall. Good thing it’s always fall weather on the Oregon coast so she’s already getting some wear in.

Oh and very me to ask what buttons people like and then choose the ones with the fewest votes BUT the clay was too large for the button band (but so cute 🥲) and @_toni.lou said she felt like I would get a lot of wear out of it with the white buttons and that really is my goal for this. I’m such a minimalist that I don’t like the idea of the button ever not matching or fitting the vibe, ya know?

Happy launch day to the Cordelia Dress by @cayden.naughton !!!!!

So absolutely honored to have gotten to test this pattern. SUCH a fun make. So many ways to mix and match the views. I already have so many more in mind (maxi, lace yoke 👀).

Such a fun vid to make!! But also I DON’T MAKE A NEW WARDROBE FOR EVERY SEASON!!!! But I’m postpartum and my body is not the same size it has been for the last couple summers so it was a super fun chance to celebrate my new body with some clothes that fit well and I feel good in. Postpartum bodies deserve that love too!!!
