🌿 A five-week therapeutic immersion into the kabbalistic architecture of the soul.

🧭 With Sefiros as our map and IFS as our lens, we’ll explore the parts of us that protect, hide, push, please, avoid, and endure, and how they shape our inner world and relationships.

but still mere prepping steps to the immanent welcome back of the precious souls brutally stolen from us and trapped for seven hundred and thirty three days,
and just a sprinkle of the joy we're working up to,

B"H...Heart bursting with a home full of loved ones...
You wouldn't know from this snapshot that a crazed soul had stepped into our path, menacing with a metal rake and a molten glare on our walk home from shul.
You wouldn't know that my insides had dialed in all faculties and limbs ready for battle, while my outsides were weaving together a cool stance and a warm and bubbly "hello, how are you?" that seemed to be enough to diffuse his Jew fury for the moment and redirect his steps back to his yard, shaking his scowling head.
You wouldn't know that others in our neighborhood had been followed and honked at for daring to exist as Jews.
You wouldn't know that we came home to hear that our tiny nation had been rocked again by a horrendous attack in a UK synagogue that forged new levels of jihadi terror into British soil and ripped unmendable gaps into our families.
You wouldn't know it because through the furnace of pain and injustice, fueled by the blessings of our fallen ones, we'll never stop being lovers and mentors of life & goodness, and coming together to celebrate our King who chose us to do so
for all time.

Let's light this New Year up, sweet world.

Feeling rattled.
Public displays of senseless violence will do that.

This is a good time to remind ourselves to see past people's opinions and see through to their humanity.

And then go deeper:
Experience the Divine Love that they, us,
we are all made of.

There's a time for war, for self-defense, for survival, for exacting justice on a battlefield. Discourse is an entirely different arena that requires a totally different set of tools; an open heart, a listening ear...This should be basic. The confusion we're witnessing in our times over basic knowledge that a simple child can understand is past the point of concerning.

I've never met Charlie, have disagreed with quite a few of his points, but his actions were peaceful and should have been met in kind. Full stop.

Praying for a just world where truth and compassion can thrive...Shabbat Shalom to Mrs. Kirk and her orphaned littles, and to all pained hearts. May we see all of our salty challenges turn into sweet triumphs very soon. 🤍
