Sometimes, just maybe we need fear for fuel.
It’s been 6 months I last touched my frames. From what if, I got to ‘no’, and from there I’d shut down from fear of ‘success’ not failure actually. And now… Well, I’m just drafting, sculpting and painting on the go.

The last time I spent the whole midnight till dawn on handling my wax in the cold, together with the pressure facing me then I forgot I had an heat gun to work with and in the cold I sweated, but for what looked like the best at that time. Now? Beauty is abstract…

With peace from my heart and love for the whole of you, I’m glad to have you here. I am TOMI, Founder of SHULAM-HEART. Here, health is wealth; we are on the journey to make mental health therapy inclusive through artistic sustainability.

2020 was a lot for everyone, and in those times of being broken by my own struggles with depression seeking medical help wasn’t always affordable and pleasurable. But beyond that, I skipped checkups for fear of being misunderstood and tagged M*D. It took me a while to learn of how my space fragrance had profound impact on my mindfulness and inward peace. It occurred to me, there’s a place for mental wellbeing in every safe space.

Postnatal in 2023, I was to relapse. Fortunately with a supportive community of women, I had help navigating the challenges of postpartum depression. Those hearts of love and strength inspired gratitude as an art of peace; the beginning of Shulamheart – a token of value that would not only acknowledge women’s support but also promote my passion of catering for people’s mental wellness through aromatherapy.

Drawing inspiration from nature’s abundance and my mother’s legacy as a chandler, I set out to craft sustainable, and health-conscious candles effective in bringing minds sanity via olfactory creativity; a light to guide the soul and PEACE TO THE HEART. As a SDGs advocate who championed some other eco-friendly practices and community development project, it wasn’t out of place bringing the sustainability to Shulam’.

In the heart of the State of harmony - Ilorin, Kwara, I found purpose for mental health to meet humanity with sustainable consumptions. I believe preventing illnesses start from the conception of the human mind and it’s our duty to provide you a state-of-the-art craft for nurturing both your physical and mental space.

Shulam’ is for the one who love to live as one with Earth to share its bounty for absolute peace. This through everyday use product for your spaces. At Shulam’, Medicine doesn’t loose it essence yet we take the root of it, restoring nature’s unadulterated ability to cater for your health….
