This experience reminded me why I love adventuring so much. Flood of emotion on the way there. It was intense.

I was so grateful to be a part of this adventure into the unknown — the kind of experience that becomes truly meaningful when it’s shared for the first time with someone. This was my first time to the North Rim, and to say it was awe-inspiring is an understatement.

I was moved by the friendship and connection that Sanne and Mark have, and of course I was captivated by the austere views of the Grand Canyon. It’s difficult to put into words — and almost impossible to fully capture through a lens — what actually transpired on this afternoon. But needless to say, it was serendipitous and totally magical.

Side note: the majority of this was filmed on the iPhone 17… and I’m here to say this device has completely changed the game for photography and video. So grateful to have it in the kit. More on that to come — and more on this story to come.

The adventure is just getting started 🤙🏻

If you love to adventure and feel like yours is story worth telling in perhaps a new and authentic way, we'd a chance to hear about it.

🎣 **THE RAINBOW LODGE EXPERIENCE IS ABOUT A WHOLE LOT MORE THAN CATCHING FISH.**

It’s the river. The guides. The people. The stories around the table. And if you’ve been lucky enough to sit down for dinner after a day on the water, you already know… **Joe is a BIG part of what makes this place special.**

From hand-cut prime rib to a steak prepped with a “top secret” recipe he absolutely refuses to give up 😂 Joe puts the same thing into every meal he serves: **love, pride and a genuine desire to take care of the people who walk through the doors of Rainbow Lodge.**

As Joe puts it, there aren’t many places where you get to interact with the quality of people who come to the lodge.

That’s Rainbow Lodge.

Come for the fishing. Stay for the people. And make sure you show up hungry. 🥩🔥🎣

**If you think Joe knows how to prep a steak, DROP HIM A COMMENT below 👇 and POUND that ❤️ button for one of the guys who makes Rainbow Lodge what it is!**
