On the sacred dawn of Mahalaya, as the artisan breathes divine vision into Maa Durga’s eyes (Chokkhu Daan)—clay transforms into life and the soul of creation awakens

Still being shaped from clay, yet millions of hearts are already waiting for her. ❤️‍🩹

There is something magical about Mahalaya…
The sound of Mahishasura Mardini in the early morning, the familiar voice of Birendra Krishna Bhadra, the scent of shiuli flowers, and that feeling that Maa is finally coming home.

For us, Durga Puja is more than a festival. It is childhood, nostalgia, family, belonging, and a thousand emotions that words can never explain.

Maa is not just coming to Earth. She is coming home — to every heart that has been waiting for her.

Shubho Mahalaya. Jai Maa Durga

It feels like these seven days passed in the blink of an eye, and today, you are leaving. My heart is filled with a deep sense of sadness and emptiness, yet there is happiness too, knowing that we will meet again very soon.

I will be waiting for you, just as I always do. Until then, take care of me and keep your blessings upon me. And next time, please come back a little sooner, my Bappa. ❤️🙏

He sat quietly beside a pile of colours, while life around him remained black and white.
For every balloon he sold, he wasn’t just earning money—
he was buying himself another day of hope
