There aren't enough words to describe everything I am feeling right now. Relief. Appreciation. Joy. Reverance. Fear. Pride. Nostalgia. These feelings are so overwhelmingly big that it makes all the trials and tribulations I've faced seem so small and insignificant. Because I succeeded where people wanted me to fail.

I feel full. Full of love knowing that I was able to accomplish this not only for myself, but for those who walked with me on this journey.

To my father. My lil bro. My biggest cheerleader. You have been my pillar of support. Since I was a little girl, you instilled strength and independence. You are always there, no matter how tired. You are always backing my ideas, no matter how outlandish. And you never ask for anything. Just for me to succeed and be the best version of myself that I can be. We've lost together, and we've shared the same pain. But we also share success. And this ours. This is our win, and proof of your hardwork and dedication as a father. MY father. I love you, Dad.

To One Spirit Dance Academy who gave me discipline and structure. To New Birth that showed that family is more than just blood relation. You all stood in gaps that were once empty, always loving and supporting me unconditionally.

I want to also thank my professors for their guidance and their care. Thanks to them, I am able to apply technical knowledge and advance my talents into an actual career.

To my friends and classmates, it has been an honor working and learning alongside you all.

Mass communications degree in one hand. Birthday cake in the other. And a mother's day card for the woman I had to become to get through this.

Happy gradbirthmother's day to me.

And congratulations to my team, because this is OUR degree🎓
