3 years ago. In my mind's eye, I remember each snow-capped peak that juts out of nowhere. Each cold hand that hovers above the bonfire. Each misshapen cloud that obscures the night sky. Each unnecessary detour. Each sudden downpour, splitting headache and bruised limb. I never realised I could remember so much.
