El Rugido del León est un film documentaire de canyoning où trois passionnés vont se mesurer à un milieu où chaque manœuvre et chaque trajectoire doivent être parfaitement maîtrisées.
Entre intensité démesurée, paysages époustouflants et galère sur galère, ce projet vous en apprendra beaucoup sur la vie, évidemment. Nous l’avons appelé « l’expédition », car ce canyon a été ouvert en janvier 2012 dans le cadre de l’expédition Aguas Verticales 2011 par Mathias Rosello, Pablo Guzmán et Ingrid Riedel de Patagonia Vertical. Mais la seule véritable expédition, pour nous, fut surtout de braver nos propres erreurs : la fabrication d’un catamaran-kayak discutables, l’oubli des frontales ou encore notre remarquable capacité à nous perdre dans la forêt. Finalement, la seule chose que nous ayons réellement explorée, c’est notre propre incompétence.
Ce film ne changera probablement pas votre existence. Vous n’y trouverez ni révélation philosophique, ni territoire « vierge » découvert au terme d’une quête initiatique. mais attendez-vous à découvrir une vision inspirante et instructive du monde du canyon, et à être subjugué par la beauté des images, sublimées par des musiques scandaleusement trop épiques.
Promis, personne ne dira que la rivière nous a transformés à jamais

Checked the water levels, compared the options — in the end we went for the Loferschlucht and the Wellerbrücke.

Simon Munch (@si.munch)spent the whole winter in Chile and Colombia, enjoying life and having a great time with his paddel buddies.
First, he started in Chile to collect some altitude meters and test out his new toy, "the Dude 95", to see how it likes to fly.
