1950s — the era of the picture-perfect housewife. 💙
.
Perfect hair. Pearls. A spotless kitchen. A homemade pie waiting for her husband.
.
The perfect wife.
.
Until she became the main ingredient. 🥧💀🩸
.
For my 1950s monster, I took inspiration from the idealized image of the mid-century housewife — not as a representation of every woman of the time, but as the polished, picture-perfect ideal that was so strongly portrayed in the era’s culture and media.
.
I wanted to turn that sweetness and perfection into something disturbing: a housewife proudly serving her husband a homemade pie… made with her own face. What’s left behind is only her skull.
.
My visual inspiration also came from vintage 1950s hairstyles, dresses, pastel kitchens and retro interiors. I was especially inspired by the feminine vintage aesthetic of the series Why Women Kill, which brought me back to this whole world of perfectly styled women, beautiful homes and something much darker hiding underneath.

❤️‍🩹 Sometimes love hurts more than it heals.
.
For this Halloween look, I wanted to create a dark and twisted version of a classic nurse — turning something traditionally associated with care and healing into something unsettling.
.
The heart-shaped eyes represent love taken to a darker place, while the bloody tears add a touch of pain and horror. The red details, vintage nurse styling and syringe complete the transformation. 🩸🖤
