The scholars had the opportunity to ask Her Excellence questions directly about her journey from the American South to Ghana. They received a direct call to action and her expectations of them, as now REPRESENTATIVES of the 6th Region of The Sixth Region Flag: A Symbol of Unity & Heritage . 🤍💛💚🖤🌍Every color, every symbol-deeply rooted in African heritage-tells the story of the diaspora’s connection to the continent. From the guiding Sankofa to the unifying Duafe, this flag represents the RESILIENCE, CULTURE, and the FUTURE of Africans worldwide.🚌🚏📍Followed by a visit to the W.E.B Du Bois Center ( @webduboiscenter ) . The center honors the life and impact of Dr. W.E.B Du Bois, pioneering American sociologist, historian, civil rights activist, and founder of NAACP and his wife Shirley Graham Du Bois. Who knew making Banku was this much work? 😂🇬🇭🍲One thing we love about traveling is getting to experience everyday life, not just the famous attractions.At Anima Guest House in Sakora Wonoo, Kumasi, the Expanding Boundaries International group rolled up their sleeves for a traditional Banku cooking lesson.
