A little taste of Sicily is coming to Battersea this Christmas, thanks to local couple Evelin and Rodolfo of @siciliafredda.

Rodolfo produces award-winning extra virgin olive oil on their farm in Sicily and he is currently there overseeing the 2026 harvest and they bring the business to life here in SW London.

Pre-orders are now open but you’ll need to be quick as they close on 8th November.

We’ve tried their olive oil for the past few years and can honestly say it was absolutely divine! It would make a lovely Christmas present for any foodie or a special treat for your own kitchen.

You can pre-order a 5-litre tin for £80 or a box of six 500ml glass bottles for £84 (£14 per bottle) with special 2 free gifts boxes! The prices are exclusive to the pre-order period, so it’s worth getting your order in before the deadline.

Even better, free collection is available in Battersea, by the river between Wandsworth and Battersea bridges.

Sicilia Fredda also offer olive oil tasting experiences, which can be combined with tailor-made cooking classes for groups of six or more. A lovely idea for a private get-together, corporate event or Christmas celebration.

Spring marks the beginning of a new cycle in the olive grove 🌿

This is the season of potatura: the careful pruning of olive trees. Each cut is made with intention: to let light in, improve air circulation and allow the tree to focus its energy on producing high-quality olives!

It’s a process that blends knowledge and craftsmanship. By removing excess or unproductive branches, we support healthier growth and better fruit, shaping not just the tree but the quality of our olive oil to come.

Great Stephanos Extra Virgin Olive Oil is never the result of a single moment. It is the outcome of year-round care and dedication to the land. From pruning to nurturing the soil in spring to harvesting in autumn, every step matters.

This is where quality begins: in the quiet, continuous work behind the scenes.

Get in touch to organise your next bespoke olive oil tasting event and discover the journey from grove to table.
