I’m still not entirely sure it eats people… I don’t think it does. Probably. Hopefully.

The thing had the shape of a man, but none of the proportions, as if something had remembered humanity incorrectly. There was no expression to read, no eyes to meet, yet I knew somehow that it had noticed me. I stood there trying to make sense of it, while every instinct I had was quietly suggesting that perhaps staring back was a terrible idea.

You hear the crying somewhere in the dark. Soft, distant, almost human. You follow it, though you can’t remember deciding to. The sound grows closer, yet somehow feels further away. Then, through the darkness, a pale face emerges. It looks frightened. It looks familiar. And for a moment, you can’t remember who you came looking for.

Been absolutely addicted to STALKER 2 lately, so naturally I ended up recreating my own version of the Bloodsucker.

I f*cking hate these things.

So I decided to pay tribute to the bastard and make it the way I think it should look if the goal was “make the player question every noise they hear for the next 3 days.” #stalker #bloodsucker #creaturedesign #horrorart #procreate by @sicksidius

2024: The year I channeled existential dread, cosmic nightmares, and the absolute absurdity of existence into colorful disasters masquerading as art. Between creating creatures that haunt your dreams and worlds where hope went on permanent vacation, I’d say it was a pretty decent year. Thanks to everyone who stared into the void with me. Here’s to more chaos in 2025. Just to be clear, I’m new on this tradition 🎨💀 #artvsartist #scifi #darkfantasy #conceptart #void #nightmare by @sicksidius

TYPE: Tumorid Privatio.
NAME: Sonoris Aberrantis.
DESCRIPTION: With hollow cavities acting as resonating chambers, it produces an endless, gut-wrenching wail that isn’t just heard, but felt a haunting vibration that leaves you questioning the very existence of happiness. Its predatory strategy is chilling: the wails induce a paralysis of existential dread in any creature nearby, leaving prey immobilized in purposeless despair. As you lie there in hopeless surrender, Sonoris Aberrantis moves in, its cavernous voids enveloping you whole body, mind, and soul. Digestion is… thorough. Soon, you’re just another part of its collection of devoured despair. Survival Tip: If you hear its soul-crushing wails, forget the cute puppies they won’t do a damn thing. The despair this creature brings makes regular depression feel like a spa day. Your best move? Run for your life… or just give in to the darkness, at least it’ll finally give you a reason to stop pretending to be happy!

TYPE: Veloctornivorus Famelicus
NAME: Marathonus Horrificus
DESCRIPTION: This monstrosity, capable of running non-stop for eternity, seems to have evolved just to ruin your day. With legs that move faster than your BMW and a body designed by a very angry god, it races through the Abyss like it’s late for an apocalypse. It doesn’t need to stop to eat obviously, because resting is for the weak. It feeds on pure kinetic energy, absorbing the life force of its prey through the chase itself. The more you run, the hungrier it gets... and in the end, it consumes you as you collapse from exhaustion. Survival tip: Do not challenge to a race. It will win, and you will lose... everything.

TYPE: Colossus Putrescentis
NAME: Corrosivus Snacktractus
DESCRIPTION: Behold the Corrosivus Snacktractus, a colossal nightmare that stalks desolate lands. Its massive body, a grotesque fusion of stone and decaying flesh, barely moves but it doesn’t need to. Its rancid tail, reeking of death and rot, acts like a dinner bell for every insect and small necrophagous creatures foolish enough to venture close. The stench is irresistible, pulling them in like moths to a flame. Once they’re close, its tongue a grotesque, slimy appendage strikes, dripping with corrosive slime that dissolves anything organic in seconds. Survival tip: if you smell it, you’re already too late.

TYPE: Tumorid Privatio.
NAME: Tumoris Aberrantis. DESCRIPTION: The Tumoris Aberrantis is a nightmare-inducing creature with a penchant for... well, growing too many limbs. This eyeless, earless, and noseless abomination relies entirely on touch and taste to navigate its surroundings yes, it’s basically licking and poking everything in its path. Its elongated, spindly arms help it “see” (or rather, feel) what’s ahead, while its gaping, tooth-filled maw suggests that anything it touches might not live to tell the tale. Perfectly adapted to dark, silent environments, this creature takes sensory deprivation to a whole new level except for the taste part, of course.
