Thankful for the opportunity to represent the Philippines and proudly wear the colors at the 33rd Southeast Asian Games 🇵🇭 Ever since finishing up collegiate throwing, it’s been a goal of mine to throw in my first SEA Games for the Philippines. In the end, it wasn’t the results or throws we were looking for, but using this experience as motivation to refine our craft and bounce back for the next one. The preparation and build up to the games was no easy feat. A lot of physical, mental, and emotional adversities through the process. From a few back injuries to balancing life outside of throwing. I truly couldn’t have done any of it without the people in corner that have supported me along the way. Thank you to my @filamsports family that has stuck with me through all this. I can’t thank you enough @bonavarro @realedlasquete @johannnool @camillethept @judith_staples for your dedication to us athletes. For my family and friends that have supported me in my day-to-day, thank you. A special shoutout to @jordan.faina @matthew.win1 and @paulynzamesa for making the trip out to Thailand to support. And most importantly, to my amazing girlfriend @sydwertz8 who has taken care of me through the lows and highs of this journey. And a final thank you to Sir Terry Capistrano, Sec Gen @jaspertanhueco , @officialpatafa , @phil.sportscommission , and @olympic.ph for this opportunity to compete for the country. I am thankful for your supportive leadership and to be a part of this wonderful group. This is my first SEA Games and will only come back stronger from here🫶🏽 #labanpilipinas #parasabayan #seagames2025 #seagames2025thailand #seagames2025🇹🇭 by @sid.yap
To the person, my person, that brings the absolute best out of me🤍 The one that keeps me grounded in life and is always in my corner supporting me in every adventure. I couldn’t have asked for anything more on our special day. To our next chapter in life and many more adventures together💍 by @sid.yap
Beyond grateful for another successful Philippine Athletic Championship🥇My first meet since SEA Games, battling both some injuries and change since then. And much love to the @filamsports crew for the support🫶🏽🇵🇭 by @sid.yap
