This photo from Taipei’s Liberty Square marks my fifth year of standing for what I believe in. This year felt a little different — a few friends at the square borrowed my little flags for their own photos. One of them, a Taiwanese artist from New York, had gone to Ukraine after the Russian invasion to see how he could help. He later chose to use his art as his way to stand with Ukraine. ( @shieldartfoundation )
To my Ukrainian friends — your courage and perseverance continue to inspire us. We’re proud to stand with you.

I rarely express my opinions by solidarity rallies:
For the 1st, support my country. In 2014, that ex-president of Taiwan accepted unfair deals with China;
The 2nd time, 2022 Support Ukraine;
The 3rd time, 2023 Support Ukraine.
.
28 Feb is Taiwan's Peace Memorial Day, I absolutely believe that it is more meaningful to support Ukraine at this time!

We hold nothing in the end, and perhaps that’s okay.

Because this intersection of wing and petal—this singular pulse of life—is undeniably ours.

Happy 2026 New Year! 🎉 No fireworks for me tonight cuz Taipei‘s weather is straight-up trash 🌧️💨 But hey, this year’s got the ultimate new toy—GenAI! Its speed blew my mind way beyond expectations, and now it‘s my super sidekick! 🤖

I asked Gemini, the AI I use frequently, to describe my 2025 in a single word. It gave me: ”Resilience“.

It explained: ”The reason I chose this word is that in 2025, you demonstrated the ability to ’bounce back‘ and ’maintain operations‘ under extreme pressure.“

Then, as the sun sets on this year, I received this incredible illustration from a skating friend @gs_skates in Poland. It struck me how perfectly it visualizes that AI’s assessment.

For me, those ”cones“ are real. They demand every ounce of focus to navigate without crashing.

The image shows a balance. That is exactly what this year felt like. It was about maintaining a precarious equilibrium even when the background—the world around us—felt like swirling, interwoven splashes of color. There was no option to fall.

I love the dynamic nature of this image. Just as time moves forward without pause and we cannot stop, my choice is to navigate the obstacles with precision and purpose.

To my friends, and especially to my dear friends in 🇺🇦Ukraine who define what true resilience means every single day: I see you navigating your own incredibly difficult courses. We don‘t get to choose the obstacles life places in our path, but you have taught us that we can choose how to weave through them.

Here’s to finding our balance, keeping our focus, and perhaps, in 2026, finding moments where we can glide with both feet on the ground.

Happy New Year 2026. Let it be meaningful. 🙏

Alright, I’m kinda behind on the trends. But I discovered that if you hop into Google AI Studio and fire up Nano Banana, you can just keep generating images one after another—it’s super fun, and I even got to relive my different learning phases all over again. What do you guys think, which one looks more like me?

**Look what I got this Easter!**
A chance to create an art-level Ukrainian Pysanka, a real Paska (Easter bread), and a super adorable teacher who showed us everything—including how to bless with holy water!
And to reflect on this journey, I shared the Pysankas I’ve made over the past three years—each one holding a piece of what I’ve learned and felt along the way. 🌱💛

This year’s Pysanka means something special to me.
Instead of just drawing freely, I took time to think about the meaning behind each symbol.
I created this egg in two parts, as a heartfelt blessing for my friends in Ukraine.
One part is for the human world: I wish you the protection of the guardian spirit, surrounded by symbols of the land and hard work.
The other part is spiritual: through the church symbol, I hope these wishes reach the divine. The wave connects both worlds, carrying strength across the boundaries.
Right now, what you need most is strength of the spirit.
This egg is my way of sending you hope and belief. 🕊️

🇹🇼🕊️🇺🇦 February 28 is Taiwan’s Peace Memorial Day. Peace doesn’t just come by wishing for it—peace needs people who share the same values to support it long enough until the enemy finally backs off. And until that peaceful day actually arrives, none of us will know exactly when it’ll be.

Last year, in 2024, I only shared 36 photos. Some things came into my life, while others left. Through it all, I remain calm, carry on, and feel deeply thankful for the brave and resilient people who stand by my side.
