Meet the Snow Queen ❄👑

Molly Grace Condon is excited to light up the stage this season as the featured Snow Queen (Cast A) and Soldier Doll, while also joining the corps in the Spanish Dance and Waltz of the Flowers in the December 4th & 5th 7pm performances. She has had the honor of performing in previous productions of The Nutcracker as the Arabian Queen and Clara.

Molly is a junior at Liberty Online Academy and is in her sixth year with the SI Core Team, as well as her second year with the SI Ballet Foundation. A committed and passionate artist, Molly is dedicated to her craft and believes in the value of hard work, discipline, and perseverance.

This past summer, Molly participated in the 10th Anniversary Duncan Cooper Workshop and the Steps on Broadway Pre-Professional Program. She has also enjoyed attending CPYB and the Richmond Ballet Intensive. Continuing to expand her training and experience, Molly will attend the fall PACE Sands College of Performing Arts Intensive, as well as the Duncan Cooper Winter Workshop.

Molly is grateful for every opportunity to learn, grow, and share her love of dance on stage. She looks forward to bringing these exciting roles to life and hopes to inspire others through her passion for ballet.

Meet Clara ✨

Tessa, a homeschooled 6th grader, is thrilled to make her debut as Clara in SI Dance’s 2026 Nutcracker production. Tessa is in her 6th year on The Core, our competitive company, where she enjoys exploring every style of dance. She is also entering her 4th season with The Ballet Foundation, our competitive ballet program, where she loves learning and performing new ballet variations.

Her dedication to ballet extends beyond the studio. This past summer, Tessa attended Richmond Ballet. She has also attended Duncan Cooper Young Dancer Intensive, Cary Ballet Conservatory’s Young Dancer Intensive, and Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet.

When she isn’t dancing, Tessa loves to craft and play with her baby brother and siblings.

We can’t wait for you to see Tessa as Clara and watch her step into this beautiful role on stage! ✨

What an AMAZING first week of dance! 💜💜💜

I’ll confess… I didn’t take nearly as many pictures or videos as I normally do because we were BUSY! We had a full house every day, and honestly, it was the best kind of busy.

We are SO excited to train, teach, challenge, and grow with all of our incredible dancers this season! They came in ready, excited, and eager to dance and we couldn’t have asked for a better start to Season 16! 💜

There is already so much energy, excitement, and potential in our studios, and we can’t wait to see where this year takes us!

To all of our returning families and to the many new families joining the SI Dance family- THANK YOU for being here. We are grateful for every single one of you. 💜

Here’s to an incredible season of dancing, growing, learning, laughing, and making memories together!

SEASON 16 REGISTRATION 💜
Registration opens Monday, August 17th!
Before registering, please email the studio for your dancer’s level placement and let us know which styles your dancer is interested in taking this season.

LEVEL PLACEMENT
* Returning dancers will be placed based on their training from last season and/or summer classes.
* New dancers ages 7 and up will need to schedule an evaluation.
* Tiny Tots is for ages 3–5.
* Mini Movers is for ages 4–6/7, depending on skill level and experience.
* Dancers should not assume they will automatically move up a level each season.
* Siblings may be placed in the same level. We do not separate dancers simply because they are siblings; each dancer is evaluated and placed individually.
* Dancers are also not placed in a level based on where their friends are placed.

CLASS REQUIREMENTS
* All Contemporary classes require at least one Ballet class.
* To perform in a Ballet class in the Spring Showcase, dancers must be registered for all classes within their level.
Please note that our schedule has changed quite a bit for this coming season, so be sure to review the new schedule carefully when registering.

A NOTE ABOUT PLACEMENT
The SI Dance staff will carefully place each dancer in the level we feel is the best fit for their current training and continued growth. We ask that you trust our experience and professional knowledge when it comes to your dancer’s placement and respect the decisions we make.
We put a great deal of thought into every placement and always make these decisions with the individual dancer’s growth, confidence, and best interest in mind.
As we do every season, we will continue to evaluate dancers during the first two weeks of classes to make sure everyone is in the appropriate level. Adjustments may be made if needed.

IMPORTANT DATES
Classes begin Monday September 14th
Spring Showcase- Tentative Date of Saturday June 12th
