you hear someone mention "music" and "korea" in the same sentence, 9 times out of 10 you're gonna think of big k-pop groups that drop bangers meant for stadium tours. But there's so much variety over there, and so many songs that move me to tears every time i hear them🥹between folk, pop and r&b, here's seven korean ballads I'd cry if i heard live cover: @singersoeunwriter_ songs: park so eun - ordinary romance wisue - fish verycoybunny - our love is thama - moments kim pureum - lost in the midnight bol4 - space sole - still beautiful taken in Seoul, South Korea by @sidebisbetter

i know we all wish @bearfaceington from @brckhmptn would come back to the spotlight, but he's not as absent as it may seem! Whether it be through spare guest features not many are aware of, production, writing or background vocals, Bearface is still out here doin his thing! And if that's not enough for you, many artists like keshi, grey oakes, bixby, west of eden and so many more have all taken bearface's alt-pop / r&b sound in wildly different directions. So give these artists a listen if you're craving that sound! And ciaran if you're out there, DROP THE ALBUM PLEASE WE'RE STARVING!!! TRACKS INCLUDED 1. 1:45 AM by Bearface feat. No Rome 2. 1time by boylife 3. third strike by mulherin 4. kiss me right by keshi 5. endlessly by bixby 6. carolina blue by grey oakes 7. my heart by west of eden by @sidebisbetter

The #philly underground hasn’t been this exciting in a minute. Here’s some of our favorite drops from this past month … @arconcepcion captivated me with her sound ever since I stumbled upon her song “What A Shame” last year. Her evolution has been amazing since then, and her new single “Room” is another helping of effortlessly soulful R&B. The production by @lukey.here provides a beat that is equal parts groovy and contemplative. It's the perfect soundtrack for her lyrics that demand better from a lover who might not be bringing out the best in her. The performance almost feels conversational, as she slips from nimble runs into talk-sung quips that melt back into melody by the end of the chorus. @tommusain released “Mend,” eleven tracks of lovesick, indie-tinged alt-R&B. Over spacey, dreamy guitars and gentle, steady drums, Tom croons melodies in a timbre that reminds me of old school Frank Ocean. “S.H.Y.T.O” “Dreams” and “P.Y.T” are my favorites, but definitely give the whole project a listen. It’s the perfect soundtrack to a lethargic morning following a late-night cry session. @idreamofgladys lifts up the mood with “outta reach,” an ode to leaving behind lovers who just can’t go the distance. The 2-step beat mixed with Gladys’ chart-topper voice and ear for melody make this an instant summer playlist add. If you're looking for a new pop girlie to obsess over, keep your eyes on Gladys because she's coming for the top. And finally, @realnicodavis reflects on lost love with his new single “Kickin’ It.” The influence he takes from artists like mk.gee is clear but morphed into a new direction that’s all his own. From the gentle production to the vocals that shift from the front to the background, this feels like a song taking place in his own internal monologue as he works up the courage to reveal his true feelings.  Let us know how you feel, which songs you added, or just drop some CD emojis in the comments 💿💿💿 whatever works lol ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ and hit that follow if u wanna hear more music from across the globe before everyone else. Y’all already know, side b is better 💿💞 luv y’all <3 . . . . . #phillymusic #newrnb #newindiemusic #音楽好きな人と繋がりたい taken in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania by @sidebisbetter
