📝 • Stories is an introspective exploration of the way photography evokes emotion through the quiet power of a single moment, revealing the extraordinary within what might otherwise pass unseen.

With more than forty years behind the camera, Wayne Buchner has devoted his practice to documenting the stories of everyday people. His photographs are less about places than they are about the human experience that unfolds within them. Drawn to fleeting encounters, shared glances, quiet gestures, moments of joy, resilience and vulnerability, he seeks the connections that remind us of ourselves in people we may never meet.

Grounded in patience, proximity and impeccable timing, Wayne’s work is created through careful observation. Each image is an invitation to pause, to look beyond the obvious, and to discover the emotion, leaving you to weave your own narrative. His photographs reflect a lifelong commitment to learning to see the world anew, one moment at a time.

Launching 25th July exclusively at our Roastery-Cafe

This new collaboration brings together two local Hunter based businesses creating something new: we are super proud to be working with our great friends at @clayfields.artisan.honey

The vision was to infuse our coffee into the delicious Ironbark Hunter Valley honey in a way that wasn’t just paying lip service to the two ingredients, rather to bring them together to complement and enhance one another. What we have with our whipped creation is something unmistakeably delicious and versatile. It has texture. It calls you to experiment with combinations that you may not have considered, whilst also just firing at full blast over some perfect English muffins or Sourdough Toast from @just_roll_with_it_huntlee .

Launching SATURDAY 25th July.

Lavender latte is here!!! @sidecar_roasters have been experimenting with @winecountrylavender culinary lavender buds and created this exquisite coffee, with a delicate hint of lavender! A must visit when in Branxton, just 20 minutes from Wine Country Lavender!
While there pick up a sourdough loaf or cookie also made locally by @just_roll_with_it_huntlee

Winter Time = SOUP WEATHER!

We make our soups in house, fresh local ingredients, classic and modern flavours - hearty, warming, and delicious. Accompanied by some pristine sourdough toast dippers. Yum. Flavours will stay on till sold out so if you see one advertised, don’t sleep on it-get in and get one!

This beauty shown here is the Potato & Leek (with our optional Bacon and Sour Cream additions!).
The previous flavour we had was a creamy Pumpkin number. Comment here if you have any requests for future flavours you want!

We are excited to be involved in the @fbr.rom ALLSTARS COFFEE CUPPING Extravaganza tomorrow Saturday 4th July in Marrickville, alongside so many other awesome coffee roasters from across the country.
