🏈🔥 @patrickmahomes is making his mark on Friday Night Lights! After spotting his Gladiator logo on high school football uniforms last Friday night, I asked Mahomes on Wednesday what it means to see his brand represented on fields across the country. He shared how it all started with a simple idea to give back to his own high school in Whitehouse, Texas, and grew into something much bigger through his partnership with @adidas ! For Mahomes, it’s more than just a logo on a jersey. It’s about giving back and helping the next generation represent their communities with pride! 🎥 Hear what Patrick had to say! #PatrickMahomes #ChiefsKingdom #AdidasFootball #Gladiator #TheWShow SSTN by @sidelinesportstalk
🏈🎙️ “Plays gonna happen. Gotta bounce back from them!” One thing about Chiefs rookie DB Mansoor Delane, win or lose, he’s always willing to stop and talk! After the Chiefs suffered their first loss of the season in Seattle, I caught up with Mansoor to get his thoughts on what the team can take away from the loss and how they move forward. His message was simple: Learn from it, keep fighting and get better! I also asked if the loss being against an NFC opponent made it any less significant with Denver up next. His response? 🗣️ “I think every game means something, no matter what it is.” That’s a solid perspective from a rookie who understands the bigger picture. Respect to Mansoor for always making time, even after a tough loss! 🤝🏾 #ChiefsKingdom #MansoorDelane #ChiefsFootball #KCvsSEA #SSTN by @sidelinesportstalk
🏈🔥 “You just can’t make it bigger than what it is!” Kenneth Walker III is back in Seattle to face his former team, but he’s keeping everything in perspective! After asking Andy Reid about his own experience returning to Philly, I followed up with Walker to see if Coach Reid had shared any advice with him. 🎙️ Walker told me it was actually Coach Eric Bieniemy (EB) who talked with him about the emotions of facing a former team and gave him a few pointers. 👀 I also did a little digging into Walker’s high school days and found out he was a 1,000-yard RECEIVER! So I had to ask how much that experience has helped him in the Chiefs offense. 💯 Walker says catching the football is second nature, and he’s glad Coach Reid recognizes that and puts him in position to make plays! 🔥 From a 1,000-yard high school receiver to making plays out of the backfield in Kansas City! #ChiefsKingdom #KennethWalkerIII #AndyReid #EricBieniemy #KCvsSEA SSTN NFL by @sidelinesportstalk
🎙️ Back like he never left! 🏈 @jwat returned to Kansas City during the bye week and was back on the field Sunday for the Chiefs’ win over the Chargers. I caught up with Watson after the game to talk about his return, how quickly everything came together and what it feels like to be back in a Chiefs uniform. Watson told me it all started with a text from Brett Veach asking if he was in shape and wanted to come back. 😂 A week later, he’s running out of Arrowhead again and celebrating a 5-0 start! #ChiefsKingdom #JustinWatson by @sidelinesportstalk
🎙️ First NFL catch in the books for Chiefs WR @cyrusallen_ ! 🏈 I caught up with Allen following Sunday’s win over the Chargers to talk about his progress and what it meant to finally get that first NFL reception under his belt. Allen says it feels good to get that weight off his shoulders, but he’s looking to build on it. He also talked about learning from @worthyyy , Tyquan Thornton and Rashee Rice as he continues to find his way in the Chiefs WR room. #ChiefsKingdom #CyrusAllen by @sidelinesportstalk
🎙️ @worthyyy is finding his voice in the Chiefs WR room! After leading the Chiefs in receptions and receiving yards against the Chargers on Sunday, I caught up with Worthy about his growing confidence and stepping into a bigger leadership role with t.thorn4on_ sidelined. Worthy shared how one of his teammates challenged him to be more vocal and not just focus on doing his own job. He’s still one of the young guys, but he’s now being counted on as another leader in that WR room. 👀🏈 #ChiefsKingdom #XavierWorthy by @sidelinesportstalk

🏈 Patrick Mahomes may have had the bye week off from football, but he was still taking hits at home! 😂 After asking Coach Reid about his bye week routine, I asked Patrick if anything has changed with his over the years. He says the biggest difference now is chasing the kids around, especially Bronze, who apparently loves playing tackle football! Mahomes said he didn’t go the entire bye week without getting tackled. 😂 #ChiefsKingdom #PatrickMahomes #Chiefs #NFL by @sidelinesportstalk
🏈 Does Andy Reid ever really take a break during the bye week? I asked Coach Reid if his approach to the bye week has changed throughout his coaching career or if he sticks to the same routine. His answer? Players need time to step away and reset, but for coaches, the work never really stops. I even asked if he gives himself at least 24 hours to unplug. His response said it all. 😂 🎙️ Steve Walls | @sidelinesportstalk #ChiefsKingdom #AndyReid #Chiefs #NFL by @sidelinesportstalk

⚔️ “That’s what pure football is.” I asked Patrick Mahomes about the respect and rivalry between him and Maxx Crosby and what he remembers about some of their exchanges over the years. Mahomes says it’s like competing against one of your friends: you want to win because you want those bragging rights when you see them again. “When I step on that football field, sometimes I’m gonna need my best because he’s gonna bring his best.” #Chiefs #Raiders | @patrickmahomes | @maxxcrosby 🎥 @stevewallskc | @TheWShowKC by @sidelinesportstalk
