Playing live and unplugged Spring 2026...An Acoustic Evening With Sidewalk Prophets.
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
This past year, we had the opportunity to spend a week performing at Dollywood. It was truly humbling to be there with our families, friends and fans, experiencing this special place that Dolly had poured so much of herself into.

One day, during the downtime between sets, we grabbed a guitar and a mandolin and made this one-take recording.

We had no idea how special that moment would become. After Dolly’s passing this week, this recording means more to us than we ever could have imagined.

We don’t believe recording it was a coincidence.

Thank you for the music, Dolly. Thank you for your faithfulness and for showing the world what it looks like to love people well.

We will always love you. by @sidewalkprophets

Last year we were invited to play at Dollywood for a week. It has always been an incredible honor to play there, but this time we were given the chance to spend time behind the scenes, walk the halls Dolly walked and experience the park in a way we never had before.

There was something about being there that week that felt different.

You could feel the history, the dreams, the faith and the legacy in that place.

Every day, people came from all over the country to a park filled with roller coasters, screams, popcorn and cinnamon bread. But underneath all of it was something deeper. Family. Joy. A place built to make people feel welcome.

And the more we learned about Dolly's story, the more you realized none of that happened by accident.

Dolly's legacy is so much more than a blonde wig and a quick wit. Her music was intentional, and her life was too. The larger than life persona may have gotten the world's attention, but underneath it was a woman who knew exactly who she was and what she wanted to do with the life she had been given.

Dolly Parton was on a mission to love.

She wasn't shy about her faith, and she wasn't shy about loving people like Jesus loved. She loved people for who they were and where they were, without condition.

She became an icon of our time, but more importantly, she was a daughter of the King of Kings.

Today, I'm thinking about that week differently. I'm grateful for the memories our families made there. I'm grateful for the books our kids have on their shelves and the birthday videos from Miss Dolly. I'm grateful for the music, the laughter and the joy she gave to so many people.

But most of all, I'm grateful for a life lived with purpose.

Thank you for the music, Dolly. Thank you for your faithfulness. Thank you for caring for people and showing us just how far a life committed to love can reach.

We're praying for her family and everyone who loved her.

Rest in peace, @dollyparton

We will always love you. taken in Dollywood by @sidewalkprophets

We’re so excited to be back on that historic stage, and this Tuesday we’re gonna kick off SWP 25 at one of the best places we could possibly kick it off...the Opry!

This fall marks 25 years since my buddy Ben and I started Sidewalk Prophets in a dorm room in Indiana. It’s pretty unbelievable to think about everything God has allowed us to experience since then, and more than anything, we just feel incredibly grateful.

Grateful for the songs. Grateful for the miles. Grateful for all the people who have been part of this story. And especially grateful for you, our Great Big Family.

So over the next year, we’re going to celebrate 25 years together. We’ve got all kinds of surprises coming your way some special SWP 25 merchandise, some really fun ways to celebrate together, and a LOT of bigger news that we can’t tell you about just yet.

But SWP 25 isn’t just about looking back.
We can’t believe where God has taken us over these first 25 years, and we can’t wait to see where He takes us next.

So here’s to 25 years, Great Big Family.
And here’s to what’s next.

Lead Singer Extraordinaire,
Dave Frey

Today is a huge day! It's Christi Riggs, our tour manager's 50th birthday.

Christi works so hard not only to take care of the band, but to serve the venues and promoters we work with every day. She is a huge part of what helps make things happen here for SWP, and we couldn't do what we do without her.

So, in honor of this special birthday, please make sure to send Christi all the birthday love you can.

It's party time! 🎉🎉🎉 by @sidewalkprophets

11 years ago today, the Something Different album presale launched.

We wrote the songs for this album over the course of a 3 week period at a lake house in upstate New York. When you're focused on writing songs, you're waiting for the "THAT'S IT" moment. That moment is when a concept or something on your heart gets translated poetically into song lyrics.

Most of the time we're moving ideas and words around like puzzle pieces. You get tired, you get frustrated, you want to quit... and then IT happens. When that moment happens, everyone in the room high fives because everyone knows we just wrestled a piece of art into submission. Actually, it's the art that wrestles us into submission.

The journey to the finished project is such a special one, and we know those moments aren't accidental. God has His hand in it all.
We don't take those moments lightly, and we are so proud of the songs on this project.

Psalm 150,
SWP
