Getting ready for today’s 25k run

Today is 2 huge mile stones!
1000 km for this year
1000 days sober and clean

Wish me luck people as I don’t feel that great, but I’m still going to get it done as I love number coincidence’s, I belive it’s the universe speaking to us!

31st December 2023 — New Year’s Eve.

That was the day I decided enough was enough.

I had been drinking, smoking and using recreationally since I was 15, For decades, that was my normal.

(Counting down to day 1000! Huge milestone for me❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥)

Today, 997 days later, I can honestly say:

I AM CLEAN. I AM SOBER. AND I’M LIVING MY BEST LIFE. ❤️

My life now couldn’t be more different.
I eat clean. I eat whole foods and plenty of high-protein food.
I have proper Greek honey and fruit for breakfast every day. I still spend around an hour most days making fresh juice for the following day.

I run most mornings — partly for the fitness, and partly to chase the devil away! 😂🏃‍♂️

I do 40-minute intense HIIT sessions around 5 nights out of 7.

Sometimes I wake up at 4:30 on a Saturday morning and decide to go and run a bloody marathon for fun! 🤣

I’m still doing my Muay Thai and kickboxing too. 🥊

But the biggest change isn't physical.

I show up for my family every single day.

And something else I never thought I'd be saying… I’m now working towards a high-level diploma.

As a dyslexic, non-conforming kid who never thought the traditional education system was built for me, I genuinely never imagined this would be possible.

But here I am.

And that’s the thing I want to share with anyone who is struggling right now:

NEVER GIVE UP.

You genuinely have no idea what the future holds for you.

The life you think is impossible today might become the life you absolutely love tomorrow.

You don't have to fix everything overnight. You just have to make the next right decision.
Then another.
And another.

Keep going.

Make the changes you need to make. Look after yourself. Look after the people you love.

Love life. ❤️

Because believe me… there is an incredible life on the other side of the things you think you can never escape.

997 days down.

And I’m only just getting started. 💪🔥

It sadly happens happened to me and Kerry Spruce , not just once, but twice and was devastating especially the second one (Nate Spruce) nearly broke me 😢

Day 3 of my 50k for Sands - baby loss charity

This charity don’t just support people after baby loss, they are working on prevention as well!
When we lost baby Nate the statistic was 1 in 4 baby’s do not go full term that is a huge number!
1 in 4 families has an experience that will never leave them that is very sad 😢
