Loved helping my running buddy @sidfletcher out with the vinyl for his metal project Father Of Lies (it's an art project too I reckon, because it's his design work: I just did the layouts and technical stuff for the printer to be honest).

Go and see them play live if you can. Sid's a witty lyricist and it's worth it just to see their 16 year old drummer play

So… somehow, against all odds (and probably better judgement), the day has finally arrived. You can now actually hold a physical copy of the Enemies EP in your hands.
It exists. In real life. Not just as a dodgy link that you saw on Temu

There’s a limited run of 12” white vinyl for those of you who like your music with a bit of pomp and ceremony, when they’re gone they’re gone ( at least in white anyhow)
CD digipaks for anyone still keeping that format on life support. T shirts should be arriving very shortly for your spring / summer collection

We’ve got a handful of gigs lined up for later in the year more details coming once we get our act together. but for now, we’re mostly locked away working on new material and making more noise than is strictly needed.

Thanks to everyone who’s stuck with us so far. You know who you are and we will never forget you We will see you soon — probably louder, probably noisier -Hopefully better.

There are a few things in Sheffield that I can’t walk past without snapping a photo — no matter how many times I’ve seen them.

This spot on the canal is one of them and I do hope they keep it as part of the Attercliffe riverside regeneration

Father of Lies have been quiet for social media for some time and its time to bring you all up to speed.

After much searching we have a new drummer! The unstoppable force that is Toby. He has been hard at work with us in the darkest recesses of the studios learning the FOL back catalogue and helping us write some new material.

We now have several gigs lined up from April through to July which we’re excited about. More detail on these will follow in due course. We hope to see you there. by @sidfletcher
