Memorial tankard.
A very special custom order. This one was for a local customer who asked if I could make a vessel and incorporate some of his brothers ashes into the glaze.
Yes. I can do that. This tankard has Bill mixed into the bottom lighter blue drippy part. (For the potters on my list the way you do it is to sift the ash to get a fine dust and then mix it with a heavy fluxing glaze and GLAZE TEST before making the final piece).
I also made a wee vessel to use to store the rest of the ashes that were brought to me. I love how it turned out and now the person who trusted me with such a special project can share a beer with his brother again. ❤️ by @sidhefirearts

Slightly more professional photos of the Byzantine inspired goblet. This piece was a donation to a fund raising auction. I'll be working on more similar pieces each month in 2026. by @sidhefirearts

After 2 weeks of dealing with the electric problem in my art studio I had an entire new run of wiring installed and I'm back up and back to work!
Now to get this overdue group custom order finished and shipped! I'm so grateful that my customers were understanding! 🥰 by @sidhefirearts

Just a quick PSA. I'm currently having electricity issues in my art studio and until it's fixed I can't run my kiln. So all of my production work is on hold. Keep your fingers crossed for me that this won't involve installing an entire new run from the main to the art studio 🤪
Stuff will be a little slower on social media until I get this figured out.
I hope you are all having a better day than me 😝 by @sidhefirearts

Do you like pottery? Do you like pirates? If the answer is yes then this months give away is for you! One of my hobbies is pirate reenactment! This month I'm using my give away to promote the crew I'm part of. To enter to win these two whiskey sippers (or rum sippers 😁😉) make sure you are following me on social media and then go follow @theoutrageousfortunepirates on Instagram or Facebook. Comment something here so I know you did that. I'll randomly pick a winner from everyone who follows/comments on the 12th of October and ship these two little barrel cups to you! by @sidhefirearts
