Carbonara made by @provencio311 some of the most delicious noodles I’ve ever eaten. Calabrian chili, garlic, and black pepper gave the sauce an explosive heat, and the bonito cured smoked egg yolk, and parmesan, plus a fresh yolk garnish transformed this riff on carbonara into an unctuous and luxurious something else. Coq au Vin was insanely good. Used a local Pinot noir for the overnight marinade and braising and served over turnip and potato purée. #food #foodporn #foodie #foodphotography #french #frenchfood #coqauvin #chicken taken in Eugene, Oregon by @sidsfeast

Steamed Yaquina Bay oysters with fermented black bean sauce, fresh aromatics and Thai chilli fish sauce. When I saw these oysters at the fish market in Newport I immediately thought back to the steamed oysters I grew up eating at @sunwahbbq this was my recreation of that nostalgic dish. by @sidsfeast
