Summer 2026 of music. I said I was gonna get to some concerts this summer. I got to see @the1res one of my favorite artist from my youth. Take a friend to @lauramvula and scratch @publicrecordsnyc off of my list of places I wanted to go. Shout out to @sidvaga for being my DJ plug for the summer and making me sweat like no other. Ended the summer with @e_e_ one of my favorite alt bands. And the cherry on top was I finally got to see a spice girl @melaniecmusic. Someone told me it was gonna be a great summer and looking back it was better than I would have ever expected. by @sidvaga

Just realized this morning it’s 10 years since I released this EP that was so much fun to do! “What’s Happening” - a 50’s jazz inspired house track sampled from this awesome pianist and then (2&3) deep in my Brazil 🇧🇷 phase with Sereias, sampled from one unbelievable percussionist! While I was finishing this project a new friend I made online @dj_herald_, proposed to remix it and absolutely smashed it! We then proceeded to release and remixed a lot together for a beautiful and fun few years 💛
Thank you brother @nickodemusnyc for offering your truly amazing platform @wonderwheelrecordings 🙏

I shot this pic in 2000 from dumbo with my Canon AE-1. These towers were majestic.

Hello friends! Today I’m sharing two of my favorite old school tracks that share one rare particularity: they don’t have a bassline!

Give them a listen and let me know what you think — do they actually need a bassline?

Track 1: Angel Moraes (R.I.P.) – Burnin’ Up (Radio Slave Remix)
Track 2: Radio Slave – Lovemusic

As I was working out in the gym today I put on this mix that I made years ago for my friends Jon Billick and Brian Morse of Cahoots Recordings and thought it was perfect to be part of my Archives Sessions #5.

All house music with sprinkles of some tasty tech house here and there with my signature Vaga sound.
Press play, and enjoy the ride.
