❄️ MEET OUR NEW GLOBAL AMBASSADORS! 🌎

Today, we are proud to introduce three inspiring individuals joining the Glacier Nation, by the Glacier Nation Global Challenge

🇨🇴 Daniela Soleia, from Colombia @cumbresblancascolombia , a nomadic artist deeply connected to her Muysca heritage and devoted to honoring water, ancestral wisdom, and our relationship with the Earth.

🇨🇭 Simone Imthurn from Switzerland @glaciernationswitzerland , whose lifelong connection with the mountains and experience in mountaineering and education inspires others to protect these fragile environments.

🇰🇬 Gulbara Omrova from Kyrgyzstan @ak_mongu_kyrgyzstan , a dedicated glaciologist whose research, fieldwork, and community engagement help raise awareness about the urgent need for glacier conservation.

Different journeys, different parts of the world, but one shared purpose: to inspire awareness, connection, and action for the protection of our planet and its glaciers. 🏔️❄️💧

Welcome to the Glacier Nation family! Together, we can turn passion into action and create meaningful change for future generations. 🌎✨ by @sie_quest

Coming down of the mountains of the Sierra with these beloved naskuas from the Kogi tribe, pilgramage that took place in Feb 2025, looking forward for our next guided pilgramage in February and March 2026 ❤️💧 by @sie_quest

Work done at Isis temple, hiding from the guards, went without shoes as is part of my pilgrimage, many wanted to kick me out for this reason, yelling at me and being grumpy, this made the prayer even stronger.

October 21, 2026 A Historic Moment for Colombia during the Glacier Nation Global Challenge during the Global Challenge 🏔️💧🌎

20 planetary Glacier ambassadors from different nations reached the summit of Ritak’uwa Blanco, one of the glacier-covered peaks of Zizuma, the Sierra Nevada del Cocuy or Güicán, in the Colombian Andes.

In the last three decades, Zizuma has lost approximately 50% of its glacier-covered area. From 23.7 km² in the 1990s to approximately 11.88 km² in 2024, these numbers tell a story we cannot just ignore. Our glaciers are disappearing, and with them, vital sources of water for ecosystems and communities. 💧

We are documenting this extraordinary achievement with the aspiration of earning recognition from Guinness World Records, but our mission goes far beyond a world record. Through Glacier Nation and the Water Altar, we are weaving ancestral wisdom, science, and collective action to become the voice of these ancient ice elders.

🌍 HELP US REACH GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS!
Comment “WORLD GUINNESS” below to help bring attention to this historic achievement and amplify the voice of our glaciers. Tag Guinness World Records and share this message so our collective voice can travel across the planet!

The glaciers are not just disappearing ice. They are our water, our rivers, our ecosystems, and our future.

Their voice is our responsibility. Together, let us become the voice of the glaciers. 🏔️💙

And let’s spread more GOOD news!!! 🧚🏻‍♂️

Zizuma Glacier payment ❄️

We have been preparing our spirits to let go of everything that no longer serves our emotional bodies, receiving spiritual teachings and materials from Saga Antonina and Mamo Sauma to bring to these elder glaciers, with the intention of bringing more snow and slowing down global warming in this territory.

Last night, I wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to make it because I had become seriously ill. I surrendered, prayed, asked my mom and my partner to pray for me, and worked with sacred tobacco.

I made an agreement with my body that if I woke up with a sore throat, I wouldn’t go, and I would be okay with it (even though seeing snow in my own country for the first time was one of my lifelong dreams).
And so, it was a real miracle and divine intervention that I woke up with energy, with a bit of a cold but nothing as serious as the day before.

Today, we hiked to 4,760 metres above sea level with 20 other global ambassadors. What we experienced today was probably the first time in history that this has happened in this territory.

We are grateful to still be able to admire and appreciate the snow, knowing that due to the accelerating melting of glaciers, we don’t know if our grandchildren will be able to see it.

May we learn to listen to these elder beings while they are still here. May we honour the water. May we protect what remains.

Thank you @cumbresblancascolombia and @glacier.nation for weaving these golden threads into the golden planetary spider web 🕸️

My family in Colombia, that beautiful gathering of people devoted to protecting glaciers and mountain climates, alongside ambassadors from every corner of the world, have sent me this video.

What was your love, Iran?

Your love carried me to your highest peaks, placed my footsteps upon your glaciers, and opened my heart to your forests and deserts. My hands clung to your rocks and walls. And, madly, like a lover holding love close to their chest, I drove through your roads, embracing them with all my heart.

I carried this love far beyond your borders, to distant horizons, to the hearts of people who love you without ever having set foot on your soil.

Kouhe Sepid, Iran’s branch of the Glacier Nation family, is a dream of calling Iran’s name out to the world.

You will be hearing this name more often.⁩ by @sie_quest
