Inktober, day 14.

The word was Lady today. Nice word, I thought. I just went for the first thing that came to mind. Always loved the art on classic playing cards, and this one was always my favorite. Not sure why, clubs just sound tough I guess.

Inktober2026 Day 3: Miniature

Here's yer miniature. Wonderful prompt as it gives me an excuse to draw extra tiny which is significantly less effort for me.. Not that I don't like doing it.. but it was nice to go easy on myself today.

Inktober 2026 Day 2: Relic

Almost forgor to draw today already lol, was in the shower when it hit me. I sat down and decided to not think about it and draw the first image that showed up in my mind. I kind of like it that way, spontaneous and sudden. No planning ahead, kind of makes me with Inktober didn't post the full word list 2 weeks ahead of the starting day, but it is what it is.

Anyway, relic!

I don't know if I can take credit for this joke as I wasn't conscious when I came up with it.

I finalllyyy get to show off a bit now that I'm working on the game's art.

Also some pics of how I go about it and the methods I use to ensure that the world truly feels alive, with no two trees being the same, all while taking up extremely little graphical memory.

That and it looks awesome, if I say so myself.

Alright, now that I've shown people what I'm up to, it's time to descend back into the pits and start working on the ground and grass and such.

I'm really stoked to see the final product.. but I'll be sure to savour the journey itself as well. by @siegemaker

Inktober Day 24: Rowdy

GUESS I WAS STILL IN THE POKEMON MOOD AFTER YESTERDAY! LOUDRED HAS ALWAYS BEEN ONE OF MY FAVORITES, AND HE WAS THE FIRST THING I THOUGHT OF WITH THE WORD ROWDY!!!

Inktober Day 23: Firefly

The two firefly Pokémon, Illumise and Volbeat. I always had a soft spot for Pokémon that had sort of a symbiosis with each other.

From the Dex:
"Illumise attract swarms of Volbeat using a sweet fragrance. Once the Volbeat have gathered, this Pokémon leads the lit-up swarm in drawing geometric designs on the canvas of the night sky."

Inktober Day 22: Button

steve noo dont do it!!!

Went a little far for this one but it was fun so worth it.

What kind of player are you? Like the one at the button, or like the prankster on top of the hill? Or the kind that says "what even is going on in this picture I don't play minceraft"

Inktober Day 21: Blast

I never like to draw 'regular' explosions. I like putting shapes in there and specific movements, even if that isn't how real life physics work. If realism was my thing, I'd probably be doing photography instead of illustration.

Inktober Day 20: Rivals

Had a surprisingly extensive conversation about Wario recently, so this came to mind rather quickly. He's so fun to draw, wayy more than mario and his perfectly rounded shapes IMO.

Inktober Day 19: Arctic

Another double post on 1 day because life is stressful and unforgiving and I was approaching burnout.

I'm not as pleased with the art as I am with the considerations and contemplations I've had while drawing it. The annoying thing about these worry arcs is by the time you realize you're in one, you're in deep.

Back on track, at least. The ice was challenging, didn't get it perfectly, but I do find drawing ice interesting and I want to do it more. Nice. Ice.
