29 🌞

I’m really happy living a simple, wholesome life. I don’t feel the need to keep up with every trend or spend money on things that are temporary. I’d much rather invest in experiences, memories, and the people I love.

For me, a good life looks like simple dinners, endless breakfast catch-ups, travelling, trying new activities, enjoying the sunshine, staying active, and spending quality time with friends and family. I don’t drink, I take care of my health, and I’ve learned to appreciate the little things that make everyday life feel full.

I’m learning to let go of the idea of where I thought I should be. I imagined I’d have kids or a completely different life by now but life doesn’t follow a timeline we create in our heads.

The sun rises every morning and sets every evening, reminding me that time keeps moving whether we’re ready for it or not. We’re all here for a limited amount of time, so I want to keep living rather than worrying about whether my life looks the way I once imagined it would.

So here’s to 29.
To becoming a better person, staying curious, exploring new places, creating new memories, trying new things, keeping an open mind, and staying connected to the people who matter.

Keep communicating. Keep loving. Keep exploring. Keep choosing experiences over things.

And most importantly, keep living your best life, because time doesn’t stop, and neither does the sun. 🌅 by @siennacaputo

This month I turn 29, and here are a few things I’m not afraid to admit...

Sometimes it’s hard watching everyone around me getting married or having kids. I’d be lying if I said it never makes me wonder if I’m falling behind.

I’ve been single for three years, and I’ve learned to do most things on my own…even the hobbies I’d always imagined sharing with someone.

I have so many goals and dreams that sometimes I don’t know which one to chase first because I genuinely want them all.

But if there’s one thing I’m learning, it’s that comparison steals the joy from your own journey.

We all have different timelines, different paths, and different lessons to learn.

I’m choosing to stay optimistic, keep growing, and trust that what’s meant for me will happen when it’s supposed to.

Here’s to 29 and still figuring it out, still dreaming big, and still believing the best is yet to come. ✨ by @siennacaputo

The English is getting harder to caption, but apparently going too dark in the sun is another one of my many sins…

You can’t win with this woman! 😂🌞

You’re cooking with your Nonna and somehow the conversation turns into….

Nonna’s first time actually talking to the camera and of course, Nonna had ONE agenda 🤣

Living with endometriosis is so much more than “bad periods.”💛

It can mean years of unexplained pain.
Years of being told it’s normal.
Years of appointments, tests, medications, missed work, cancelled plans and wondering why your body is fighting against you.

In Australia, around 1 in 7 women are estimated to have been diagnosed with endometriosis and the average time between symptoms beginning and receiving a diagnosis can be 10yrs.

We need more research and meaningful funding so we can improve early diagnosis, develop better pain management options, and understand the condition beyond simply managing symptoms.

We need better access to education around nutrition and anti-inflammatory approaches, physiotherapy and multidisciplinary care, with evidence-based information so women aren’t left trying to navigate their health alone.

Because 1 in 7 is not a small number.
And behind every statistic is a person trying to live their life.

If you live with endometriosis, you are not alone. And if you know someone who does, listen, believe them and support them.

𝐄𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐬: 𝐒𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐚’𝐬 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 🤍

I want to take a moment to honour this incredible woman, Sienna. @siennacaputo @endometriosisaustralia

Earlier this week, Sienna shared her experience of living with endometriosis in our collaboration post. Her honesty and bravery in speaking openly about her journey may help another woman feel seen and less alone.

It has been an honour to support Sienna following surgery. Through bodywork, Womb Wisdom and Ayurvedic Abhyanga, I’m grateful to offer care in the small ways I can through such a big health journey.

To Sienna, and to every woman who has shared her endometriosis story, thank you. Your experiences deserve to be heard, believed and met with care. 🤍

Big love 🤍 Jade by @siennacaputo

STAGE IV ENDOMETRIOSIS.

I’m 28, and it’s been incredibly difficult week to process.

During my laparoscopy, they found extensive endometriosis in four areas of my abdomen, including 2 large endo nodules likely causing much of my severe pain. Unfortunately, some was left behind, meaning I may need another surgery in the future.

The hardest part is knowing there is currently no cure, and that it can come back.

Over the past few years, I’ve been learning everything I can about endometriosis. One thing I wish I had known sooner is to trust your body, advocate for yourself and maintain a healthy diet and lifestyle.

Severe period pain isn’t something you should simply accept as normal. Get checked. Ask questions. Get a second opinion if you need to. You know your body best.

I’m also focusing on what I can control, nourishing my body with an anti-inflammatory, nutrient-rich diet, staying active, moving my body and giving myself the rest and recovery I need, with the help of @bulletproofbyb providing me with a nutritious meal plan.

Instagram can be such a highlight reel, but I think it’s important to share the real stuff too.

I’m sharing my story because other women’s stories helped me feel less alone, and I hope mine can do the same for someone else.

Because somewhere out there is a woman who has been told her pain is normal.

This is for her 🤎

Somewhere along the way, Sri Lanka became more than just a destination. 🇱🇰✨

It was the early mornings, the endless palm trees, the golden sunsets, the incredible food, and all those little moments in between that made this trip so special.

A place full of colour, warmth, adventure and memories I’ll carry with me long after I’ve left.

Leaving with a camera roll full of memories and a heart full of gratitude.

Until next time! ✈️

Meet my dad — Rocky 🩵

Some people say your dad shouldn’t be your best friend.
Well, I don’t care what they say… because mine is.

From golf days and beach days to snow trips, weekend getaways and bike rides, most of my weekends are spent with my dad, and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way.

He’s taught me just about every skill possible and has helped shape me into the strong, independent woman I am today. He’s fun, hilarious and occasionally very embarrassing 😂

I know how lucky I am to have a dad like him, and I couldn’t be more proud to be his daughter.

Love you, Dad. 🇮🇹

P.S - Mum I love you too! by @siennacaputo
