Exhale is now three levels below ground.

The basement excavation has reached more than 10 metres deep, with about 15,000 tonnes of sand, roughly 500 truckloads, taken off site. The retaining wall is nearly done, and the next milestone is the foundation slab, the very first concrete floor of Exhale.

TAPESTRY SEPTEMBER 2026 PROJECT UPDATE

A big month at Tapestry. The scaffold is down, the crane is gone, and the plans have been lodged for sealing, one of the biggest milestones of the project.

Up on the rooftop, the pool is fully tiled, the sauna and steam room are complete, and the barbecue area is taking shape. Down below, the driveway and footpath are finished, and the floors are epoxied from Basement 3 up.

We walk you through what's new on site. Next time, we'll report on completion.

Sneak peak of our @ecooutdoor Ravello travertine in Tapestry’s private dining room underneath the protection cover. Laid in a modular French pattern combining squares and rectangles for a European courtyard look. As it is natural stone, every piece has its own marking and colour variation, no two are the same.

We wanted to share an insider look on how Tapestry’s Roof Terrace is progressing. Swipe through each photo and caption to discover more about the people, materials and thoughtful details that are bringing it to life.

The rooftop pool is taking shape and the @snbstone porcelain Tapestry sign adds the final touch. Each letter was precisely cut with a high-pressure water jet and laid by hand by @landvprojectpools

The views from your private dining room looking out to the Nerang River and Surfers Paradise Skyline.

Inside the private dining room, the coffered ceiling and carpet inlay, frame the dining table from above and below. An LED strip is concealed from the recess ceiling for a soft glow that will enhance your dining experience. The Australian made @godfreyhirst carpet in the Daydream design inlaid flush with the travertine creates the feel of a rug.

Coming together, one detail at a time!

Spotted gum boards for the day bed decking and barbecue area. This type of Australian grown hardwood has the highest durability rating a timber can get. Over time, they will weather naturally to a soft silver grey colour and gracefully age with Tapestry.

The Viscount White granite for our rooftop barbecue bench has arrived. It has a leathered finish rather than a polished one, which hides fingerprints and water marks, making it perfect for an outdoor kitchen. Natural stone supplied by @cdkstone

All common areas are now sheeted and painting is underway.
