Carcass v2 (acrylic/spray paint on canvas, 20”x30”)

My Piece for the @globalstreetart summer bbq/gallery event.

Decided to rework an earlier sketchbook piece onto a larger canvas, nice chance to revisit and tweak a few areas I wasn’t happy with the first time.

Ken Block. Spraypaint 8x8ft.

Decided to do some portrait practice. Seemed fitting to paint Ken Block, a rally driver/Motorsport icon who sadly passed away earlier this month.

Rest in peace Ken.

Got an invite to @montana.nottingham s party so decided to take the opportunity to paint this before and after the event.

Great to catch up with old mates and make new ones! Thanks @dilk1 @sylvie_dora for the invite.

Also great to paint one of these in Notts. Most of my Graff these days is quick pieces after work, so it’s nice to chill out and paint something like this locally.

Massive thanks to @hoodtheartist for letting me crash in his caravan and bringing me a warm maccies! Needed that. @tali_talia_ for swinging by for a catch-up, great chatting with you! Also Jason a local homeless alcoholic bloke, who sat and watched me paint for 5 hours rather than go get a drink. Meant more than any other compliment!

‘In the stacks’ 81x61cm

I got gifted a kids thermal paper camera last Christmas and I’m sure most of you have seen pictures from it on my story. I love the instant photos, the halftone effect and their disposable nature. After lending it a mate and him taking this shot I knew I had to make something from it!

The photo obviously takes inspiration from a classic photo of Dondi shot by Martha Cooper, just with a different twist. Rather than take the easy/obvious route and screen print the image, I decided to grab two colours and the smallest brushes in my collection and get to painting a million tiny dots.

Some of the transitions and gradients could be smoother but I’m not a computer and kinda like the handmade look rather than sticking to a grid/pattern for the dots.

After completely ruining both the brush and my patience this was the end result!

My piece from @wallgamesuk

Finally got round to posting this one from last month, what an amazing event! As soon as I stepped off the train there were people painting everywhere, and I only saw 1/10th of it all.

So many amazing interactions with both the public and other artists. Bumped into loads of people I knew and met some lovely new friends!

Massive shout out to everyone involved in running the event!! You smashed it!! taken in Northampton, Northamptonshire by @sierra.tango.echo

Got the opportunity to paint a piece for @artfestnottingham on the doors of @nottinghamshirewildlife alongside @aspireartwork

Thanks so much to everyone involved in the event! Loads of great artwork got painted over the week/end and the city certainly looks a lot more colourful!! Appreciate the effort you all put in!!

Met loads of lovely people whilst painting this one! The interactions are a huge part of painting for me, so thanks to everyone who stopped by!

My personal highlight has to be meeting a couple who saw me painting a street piece of a leopard years ago. Then when the boards it was painted on got taken down, they salvaged them and have displayed it in their home. I figured like most things I paint it was long gone, but an amazing story and glad to see it lives on!!

Thanks to everyone at @nottinghamshirewildlife for the space and the hospitality. Much appreciated! Hope you like the painting! taken in Nottingham by @sierra.tango.echo

Piece from @lickofpaintfest Painted alongside (below) @ch4ot1que

Got a last minute invite to a paint jam in Sheffield and threw together this plan for the wall. Didn’t realise the spot was this tall until I got sent photos over so quickly decided to add some roller letters to fill up the top section. Shout out @thevictorious89 For letting us use your fancy masking tape to double up the roller poles!

Huge thank you to @_peachzz_ And @neckofthewoodstudio For the invite and a great space, I know a lot goes on behind the scenes running these events and you smashed it!! Safe by @sierra.tango.echo

Shed makeover from last week.

For years my mum has wanted me to paint some sort of mural for her, but has never settled on the what and where.

Recently she has decided to take on an allotment and is in the process of making it her own. She asked me to give her a hand sprucing up the shed, plus installing some guttering for a water butt and we decided this was the opportunity.

I decided to go for a couple stargazer Lillies knowing they were one of her favorite flowers, safe to say she is over the moon and refers to it as “The nicest shed in Notts!” Sorted!

Inisides on the Bakerloo line. Acrylics and spraypaint A4

Me and @froot.zoot were in London with a free evening so decided to take a ride out and check out the current state of the Bakerloo line.

A lack of cameras and a change in cleaning circumstances has lead to a wave of graffiti reminiscent of days gone by. In typically graffiti fashion one tag running leads to others noticing and joining in. Seeing kids tags in mini sharpies next to big names with stealth/staining inks shows this wave in action and reminds me of my early days within the culture.

I know tagging is the most divisive part of the graffiti subculture, but to a few people this means a lot! It won’t last for ever and is a glimpse back to a different time.

Grabbed a few photos, and decided to paint this piece.

Finally got round to posting my piece for @londonmuralfest 2024.

Massive thanks to everyone involved in making the festival happen, I saw how hard you all worked and it was not an easy task!

Huge thanks to @globalstreetart for an amazing opportunity and @loopcolors for sponsoring the paint

As soon as I discovered this image of a baby monkey I knew I had to paint it somewhere. The way your eyes instantly connect with theirs looking up with a sense of longing/vulnerability, instantly grabbed me.

Met so many great people whilst painting this one and the locals have already named her ‘Dame’ after the Notre Dame estate where the mural is located.

Live painting at Goodwood Festival of Speed with @madmike.123 and his team

Got the Incredible opportunity to paint two pieces of art live at the @fosgoodwood this year. Started off painting the MadMac at the stunning @lanzantelimited booth for the cars grand unveiling. Huge thanks to Dean, Charlotte and their team for their hospitality. Also glad to see the painting made it home! Original photo by @graememurraynz

Then I moved over to @redbulluk s amazing paddock to finish up the car painting and after that paint a portrait of MadMike. Felt surreal to be painting amongst a plethora of drift and Formula1 cars. Great to paint in a public setting and get the chance to meet so many lovely people along the way!

Having attended the festival once as a kid years ago and again last year when my mates got the opportunity to race in the off-road arena, it was great to be a part of the event. Really happy with the paintings! Could have spent longer on both, but it was nice painting fast and allowing people the chance to watch, or return later and and see my progress.

Huge thanks to MadMike and his team! Not only were you all super helpful, but you also welcomed me into your group making the event super special. Really meant a lot!!

Also a huge thanks to my Mates Shaun, Alan and co who had their own car to race, but still did everything they could to make sure my job went smoothly. They even took time out of a busy schedule to come and torment me! Wouldn't have it any other way!

Last but certainly not least a huge thanks to @brendanthomas13 of @spacecosports . From our initial phone call to sending over photos a couple days ago you have got the extra length the whole time and have been great to work with!! Massive appreciation!!
