To us, Fourth of July will always be best spent in the mountains and whenever possible, lakeside. With a cocktail. And summer vibes all around. 🇺🇸🤍

The rawness, the vulnerability, the emotion, the pure essence of the moment. Some things are meant to be seen without color 🤍

About this time that year, we were just starting to realize the very possible reality that a 2020 wedding season was not going to happen. In realizing some of our worst fears, we also realized some incredible blessings. As humanity we experienced a new day to day reality full of resilience, community and inspiration. A few months later we evoked all three of these to create our Issue No. 2 editorial “One Bridal Spirit”.
.
Our location inspired our journey. Tucked just off shore on the west shore of Fallen Leaf Lake are the enchanting ruins of Anita Baldwin’s cabin. A leading example of the Sierra Bride spirit, Anita lived a life full of action, adventure, creativity, and compassion. We were honored to produce a shoot of such intention and celebration on the footprint of her former home.
.
The full shoot and much more can be found in our limited edition Issue No. 2, available via our shop (link in bio)
