Today, I gave myself to Jesus —not because my life has been perfect, but because there have been moments when I felt lost, broken, and unsure of where I was going. Moments when I questioned God, questioned myself, and wondered if I was ever going to feel okay again.
I’ve carried things quietly that people don’t always see, and I’ve had battles I never knew how to put into words. But through every low, every tear, every mistake, and every moment I felt alone, God was still there.
Today, I’m giving Him the parts of me I’ve been struggling to carry on my own. I’m leaving behind the hurt, the fear, the mistakes, and the version of me that was just trying to survive.
I know I’m still going to have hard days. I know I’m not suddenly perfect. But today, I’m choosing to trust God with my life, my future, and everything I can’t control.
This isn’t just a baptism. It’s me surrendering, starting over, and choosing to believe that there is something beautiful waiting for me beyond everything I’ve been through. Thank you to everyone who came and supported me!

TYJ for HG Basketball❤️🤍🏀

wow, I never thought that it would be over this fast. What do you mean I don’t have practice tomorrow? What do you mean I won’t ever get to do workouts, run, or even play basketball with my best friends ever again? What do you mean I’ll never get to gossip in the hospitality room during a pregame meal or on the hour long bus rides? It’s so shocking how four years passed this fast.

It’s hard to explain what this season meant to my teammates and I unless you lived it with us or watched us along the journey. The long practices, the bus rides, the inside jokes, the highs that made us feel unstoppable, and the lows that tested us and our ability to play basketball sometimes. This senior season taught me that success isn’t just measured in wins, but in growth and the people standing beside you when it’s over. I’m beyond grateful for my teammates who became my best friends and my family, my family for supporting me, and my coaches for pushing me and making every moment something I won’t ever forget.

Being on Homecoming Court for the second year in a row, and getting to share it with my sister again, is something I’ll never take for granted. It’s hard to put into words what this experience has meant to me, especially during my senior year. I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who voted and supported me—it’s because of you that I’ve been able to be a part of something so special.

This tradition, these memories, and the people I’ve shared them with have made my senior year truly unforgettable. Standing alongside my sister, representing our class together once more, has been one of the most meaningful parts of my high school journey. Not many people get to experience homecoming court, but one experience nobody really gets to experience is getting to do it with their sister. I’m so grateful me and her got this experience together! Again thank you so much to the people who supported us through this stressful but exciting process!
