i miss the days where instagram was mainly a place to post awkward photos of rocks on the ground or a weird bug you’d never seen before and man, the filters were BAD, but i actually felt like i had a little window into my friends’ genuine minds

now it’s a slew of accomplishment posts and milestones and marketing and shopping and hilarious reels - not all bad but so, so different!

this is a gentle reminder to check on your friends. peeping their stories isn’t the same, there’s so much more under the surface 🐞 by @sierrakaiulani

i’ve been working at @flowerboyproject over the summer 🦋 singing softly to the blooms and sweeping endless petals!

i’m trying to get back to romanticizing the little things like the way you can trim some florals so they revive with a little less weight on their shoulders; the small metaphors of life!
