PUPdate!

We just wanted to give you a little update on our Evie girl adopted 7/7/25 ❤️
At the beginning of this summer, our daughter Hazel picked up a life-threatening infection that caused a tremendous amount of damage to her body. She has been through multiple surgeries, hospital stays, and a long recovery, and she's still battling the effects of everything her body has been through.
Through all of this, our sweet gir Eviel has become almost like an untrained emotional support dog for Hazel. She seems to know when Hazel is having a particularly hard day and is always right there beside her. She follows her wherever she goes and loves to curl up with her while she rests.
We never trained her to do any of this. She just naturally became her little shadow and companion through one of the hardest seasons our family has ever experienced. On the days when Hazel is hurting, scared, frustrated, or emotionally exhausted, having her right there seems to bring her so much comfort.
It has been incredibly special to watch their bond grow, and we are so thankful she is part of our family. ❤️🐾
