This Monday, we hosted our annual Sigma Alpha Career Fair Mixer!💚💛

A HUGE thank you to Landus Cooperative for being our main event sponsor and Roni’s Mac for the delicious mac and cheese bar!

This event is always a special opportunity for our sisters to connect with women in agriculture, gain valuable industry insights, and prepare for career fair. Thank you to all of the companies and representatives who joined us and shared their knowledge, guidance, and experiences!

A special sister-shoutout to our Vice President, Madisyn Henderson, for planning such a meaningful event!🌟 by @sigmaalphadeltachapter

Sigma Alpha Service💛💚

Our ladies have been busy serving our local communities through volunteer opportunities at the Cultivating Hope Farms Fall Carnival and Food at First.

From running our Pumpkin Toss and face painting at the Fall Carnival to helping serve our community at Food at First, we’re grateful for every opportunity to give back through Sigma Alpha’s commitment to service and agriculture!🌾✨ by @sigmaalphadeltachapter

💌 PNMs - A Letter to You 💌

If you’re far from home, feeling nervous about recruitment, starting your first semester at Iowa State, or simply wondering where you’ll find your people…you are not alone.

With Recruitment Week just around the corner, our active sisters wanted to share a few words of advice for the women who may be wondering if Sigma Alpha is the right fit for them. We hope you see a little bit of yourself in their stories—and maybe even picture yourself becoming a part of ours!

We can’t wait to meet you!💛💚

We were honored to welcome Julia Campbell Looney, VP of Strategy at AgroBravo, 7th-generation farmer, and hot pilates instructor, as our guest speaker at chapter!

Some of the words that especially resonated with our sisters were:

✨”Life begins outside your comfort zone.”
✨”Say yes before you are ready.”
✨”Leadership isn’t about having all of the answers.”

Thank you, Julia, for taking the time to share your story and wisdom with our chapter. We are grateful for the opportunity to learn from you, and we will carry your advice with us as we continue to grow as women in agriculture!💚💛 by @sigmaalphadeltachapter
