POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

At Sigma Chi Gamma Tau, we are committed not only to our national standards of excellence but also to the support, protection and development of the women in our lives.
The Sweetheart of Sigma Chi has been a long standing symbol of strength, love and support. Every woman has the potential to be a Sweetheart, and so every woman is treated with as much respect and dignity as any Sweetheart would be.
Jane Doe’s experience is not new or uncommon. It needs to be recognized that a situation like this can and certainly has happened without any media or legal attention. That is not to excuse the brothers of Chi Phi Fraternity, but to remind us that we need to stay ever vigilant when it comes to the safety and comfort of the women around us.
If you see or hear a type of behavior from your friends, colleagues, or those around you which could cause a woman harm, you should not only be bound by obligation to assist but bound by your base morals.
For the mothers, wives, daughters and Sweethearts: Sigma Chi Gamma Tau will continue to be unwavering in our support, respect and loyalty to you.

*IMPORTANT RUSH UPDATE*

Good morning and Happy Rush Week!

Due to the weather outlook today, Sigma Chi will NOT be cancelling our rush event- we’ll just bring the party indoors!

In the event of rain, you’re still welcome at the house for yard games and good (still grilled 😉) grub in the basement, Wii games and snacks (with the root beer, don’t you worry) in the chapter room, and plenty more!

Should the weather clear up by 5pm, you’ll find us outside!

Never let a little rain stop your fun 😎

On this day, we at Sigma Chi pay tribute to those lost in the September 11th attacks. A total of 2,977 victims. 10 of those lost souls were proud brothers of Sigma Chi, and we hold space in our hearts for their families and incredible sacrifice.

We at Sigma Chi hold high value in philanthropic support of our local communities, especially when it comes to our brothers.
On July 27th of this year, an EF-3 tornado struck Menasha, WI. It was on the ground for 26 minutes. Miraculously, no deaths were reported.
One of our senior brothers at Sigma Chi Gamma Tau is from Menasha, WI, and his community has been devastated by the destruction of this tornado.
In support of our brother and his community, we will be raising awareness throughout August and September for donations to those affected.
If you have the available funds, please donate through the provided links to disaster relief funds for the area, or to our venmo where we will do a mass donation at the end of September.
If you would like recognition and a thank you for your donation, please DM us on Instagram @sigmachi_ndsu and thank you for all your support! by @sigmachi_ndsu
