We are excited to announce the first ever Lambda Omicron Excellence Scholarship to Harrison Hill. This award recognizes Harrison’s hard work to improve academically, positive impact on our chapter, and his contributions to the success of Southern Illinois University.

“It is an honor and a privilege to be the recipient of the Lambda Omicron Scholarship. Sigma Chi has given me a sense of purpose, a moral standard to hold myself to, and a brotherhood that encourages me to keep becoming a better man. This scholarship inspires me to continue striving for excellence, both academically and personally. I look forward to continuing to grow as a leader, giving back to our chapter, and carrying the values of Sigma Chi with me throughout college and beyond”.

Huge thanks to the alumni, family, friends, and supporters of our chapter to make this possible. This wouldn’t have happened if it wasn’t for you all.

Thank you. by @sigmachisiu

Introducing our September Sig of the Month: Nick Petrun 🏅

“Being named Sig of the Month means so much to me because it recognizes the work I’ve poured into my role as philanthropy chair. I took this position because I believe in using our chapter’s voice to make a real difference, and supporting the Huntsman Cancer Foundation is a cause close to all of our hearts. This year, our goal is to raise more than $50,000 and break our chapter’s fundraising record, and every event, fundraiser, and late night of planning has been about getting us there. This honor isn’t just about me. It reflects every member who showed up, gave their time, and helped turn ideas into impact. It motivates me to keep pushing so we can make this our most successful year yet.” by @sigmachisiu

This past weekend seven of our brothers had the honor to represent us at the Krach Transformational Leaders Workshop. We were proud to be recognized as one of top performing Sigma Chi chapters in the nation, as we were awarded with our third consecutive Peterson.

We are extremely proud of our chapter’s hard work and commitment and we are excited to say the best is yet to come. 💙💛 taken in Bowling Green State University by @sigmachisiu

Recently, our Consul @gelosalca had the chance to visit the Sigma Chi floor at the Huntsman Cancer Institute in Salt Lake City. It was an awesome opportunity to see the impact of Sigma Chi’s partnership with Huntsman firsthand and a reminder that what we support as a fraternity truly makes a difference.

We’re proud to represent something bigger than ourselves. 💙💛 by @sigmachisiu

Two of our brothers recently had the opportunity to attend the Horizons Huntsman Leadership Summit, where they developed their leadership skills, built lifelong connections with brothers from across the country, and gained valuable insights to bring back to our chapter.

We’re proud to see our members continue investing in themselves and representing our chapter on the national level. Congratulations on this incredible experience! by @sigmachisiu
