Today was like a Ferris Bueller’s day off day. Had the top off, cruising a beautiful freedom day in the greatest car ever built, not warm enough that you sweat but not so cool that’s it’s cold on the freeway.. perfect 🤌🏻.. out shopping premium boutiques for sht I’m not sure if i need/want or not, putting in my order for JPY (yen) today at one of my banks for my upcoming amazing holiday, had a tasty cappuccino treat, stopped by my tailor to drop off a bunch of pants to have altered to fit my sleek panther like physique, reminiscing of this one time back in the day one of my crushes brushed me off but didn’t see me chilling in my car when she came out and had to curse her worthless boyfriend for not being there to pick her up after work with her own car, and I wondered how her life may have turned out… and that put a smile on my face and a pep in my step as I brushed my hair behind my ear, winked at myself in the mirror and strolled into my solo dolo sashimi date, where I made an absoloute pig of myself, and perused the interwebz for a potential 2026 vacation destination.. Italy?.. South Korea? Portugal? Ohhh Iceland?? Hmm.. any way, such a beautiful day that reminded me of the fore mentioned movie. Now to finish my online shopping and vacation bookings and lounge about in my underwear, watching more “Initial D” from a huge Pirate Bay folder of downloaded movies. #Porsche #porsche911 #drivetastefully by @signalse7en

Sunn o))) at FIVE tonight. I mean, it was cool if you like drone / doom metal. I did pick up a couple of pieces of vinyl, an older album and a newest one. I was surprised this many people came out. CombiChrist was SO good on a this random Thursday night. It wasn’t a huge crowd but the band didn’t care and the crowd was super stoked. It had a lot of energy and they sounded so good. It makes me almost reconsider wanting to ever play live again.. maybe some industrial metal or some kind of ebm could persuade me. I clearly have the gear these days. Anyway great show. Always loved these guys but was always so busy DJing at work to make it to a show. Can’t wait til next time. Stoked for Sunn o))) tomorrow night. #combichrist taken in The Albatross by @signalse7en

Been kinda jamming on this guitar for the last couple of weeks and I’m very impressed. Stays I tune perfectly, light weight, feel good in hand, plays fast.. ya know.. sometimes you just rip and gel on certain guitars right away. That’s how this one has been.. and, well look at it! This isn’t a filter or an adjustment. This literally what it looks like laying on the couch n low light. It’s the brightest guitar I’ve ever see. I love it. I was going to get an Ibanez baritone soon or even the new LTD 30” scale, but I think I may get a Solar baritone, instead.. or I will at least buy another Solar soon. 🤘🏻 @solarguitars #solarguitars #metalguitar #metalguitarist by @signalse7en

I realized this week that if I haven’t played with a piece of tech gear in a while that chat gpt was pretty reliable and far easier to just ask directions from, so after a year and a half of owning this menu diving absolute nightmare, I had it help me figure out how to use its notorious step sequencer, that now that I understand, it’s actually relatively easy to program. You just have to navigate it’s labyrinth of menu pages and endless scrolling. The owners manual didn’t explain it, no influencer really explained it and no one has done a deep dive review of how to do the deep menu functions.. and this is both my favorite abd most hated piece of gear.. Out of all of my Roland gear, I feel like they went out of their way to make this thing difficult to use but chat was very helpful to walk me through it step by step. Chat is awesome for synths, because having dozens of synths and trying to remember all their quirky designed menus after sometimes months of not touching some of them is impossible. I gave my Chat a British accent female voice. I don’t know why that seems to make it feel more helpful. It was wrong a lot but I kept cursing at it until it figured out the right answer. #rolandjupiterx #roland #rolandsynthesizer by @signalse7en

It wasn’t my plan to pull the Porsche out late on a Thursdays night but I had to move it for property maintenance, so might as well wash it and then dry it on the interstate real quick. Now to try to cram in enough sleep for work tomorrow. It’s be great to take it out for the weekend but AGAIN Florida rain and storms. by @signalse7en

I’M FREE BITCHES!! No slavery for THREE whole days. Got home and my Epi V case was not only finally restocked, but on sale AND delivered. LIKE A GLOVE!. No definite weekend plans, except the plan not to work! Now to lay in my bed, in my underwear, under the ceiling fan for a sec and veg out. by @signalse7en

Yum.. A bit of spicy veggie and shroom soup in a miso based broth and then a small portion of my VERY spicy Asian twist, healthy “chili”ish type thing. Both always with massive amounts of watercress, cilantro, green onion and kale, without even getting into the real delicious, clean, whole foods that make up both things. Both with bean sprouts, lots of garlic and onion, all types of peppers and mushrooms, and so much more. Broccoli sprouts have been hard to come by lately, so I think I’ll just start growing those. This was so yummy and I’m full. The best part was stirring in a soup spoon full of the soup broth into the chili. This is basically what I’ll eat all week. by @signalse7en

You gotta break in a new guitar by drenching it in sweat one good time, in a hot garage, baptize it in bodily fluids, while in your underwear, like any self respecting musician. I don’t exactly know to explain why playing in your underwear just hits different, but it does 🤷🏻‍♂️. I tell ya, the mirrors at the gym do not give you a GD MOMENT of peace.. constant judgement😅. Funny, that there is a machine that sits facing the mirror JUST like in this image.. Like they couldn’t have just put it there facing the room. The mirror is like two foot in front of you, just you the machine and the truth, brutal. I can walk around and just NOT look at the mirrors in the room like a fat vampire but this particular machine.. well let’s just say those muscles won’t get worked out ever again. It’s both motivating and makes you want to quit. It’s like when the barber has you facing strait ahead, staring into the mirror at God’s sick sense of humor, and you just shut your eyes.. like, I don’t need THIS right now 🤣. Give me a COUPLE minutes of escape, PLEASE. Anyway, everything’s hurts and someone STOLE my headphones.. and there are the wall to wall mirrors of shame.. and I’m tired. It’s been a day. Whew. I’ll try again tomorrow. At least I know I have a cool toy coming on ups to fill that empty hole with a cheap dopamine fix. by @signalse7en

When I was in Hawaii I used to sometimes have dreams that I was DJing at a club (because it used to be a good, peaceful and lucrative job) and now, I sometimes I dream that I’m tattooing. Probably because the topic has been coming up a lot lately, last night was a vivid one.. which got me thinking that maybe I should make inquiries about a place to do quick weekend appointment spots Sat - Mon, and then I can get my license reinstated and (figuratively) set up shop. I don’t really do anything worthwhile on my days off anyway and this WAS what I was doing to start doing when I first got trapped DJing again and jus sort of gave up on life 😅. It might be nice to get my chops back, build back some local clientele and have that career skill back at a level that I could use it to float around the country again, if need be and feel less trapped and in more control of my life again.. plus it’s peaceful and kind of fulfilling. I’ve really got my life back into a prison I’m not happy with and the panic attacks I had a couple of weeks ago and lingering anxiety are a clear sign that something needs to change. Maybe that’s just early morning talk but I don’t think so. I may go poke around this weekend. I miss the shop environment and the antics as well. If you told me five years ago I’d be where I’m at now, I’d have been so upset and I need to try to fix this problem. by @signalse7en
