This is what tax resolution actually looks like! My client filed her taxes and owed the IRS $11,298.41. Then this showed up:

Notice of Intent to Seize (Levy).

She came to me, and we didn’t just automatically throw her into a payment plan.

I completed a financial analysis to determine what resolution she actually qualified for. We identified the appropriate option, implemented the resolution, and prevented the levy from moving forward!

This is what I want high-income earners, business owners, 1099 earners, and people who typically owe to understand:

Making good money doesn’t mean you won’t have tax problems. And owing doesn’t mean your only option is paying the entire balance!

Filing tells us what you owe.

Your credit report will tell on you every single time.

You can say you pay your bills on time. You can say you only owe a little bit. You can say, “I don’t even know why my score dropped.”

The report knows why 🙃 It’s showing the balances, the late payments, the collections, the inquiries, how long you’ve had accounts …ALL of it.

And this is exactly why I tell people to stop obsessing over just the score.

The score is the result. The REPORT tells you what caused it.

Learn to read the report and that little three-digit number starts making a whole lot more sense. by @signaturepsbytee
