Want to see what I got?? OMG loving my new plaque from @signed.mimi @signed.mimi generally does personalised plaques but when I came across her work I thought let me just see if she could do logos as I love the fact she handcrafts these signs on wood. She never done one before but was up for the challenge...... From literally start to finish she would update me with progress, ask me which wood i wanted, sent me swatches on back washes for the plaque, what type of material I wanted for the actual logo, literally eveything. Customer service was 10 out of 10 and how gorgeous was the packaging!! Minimal but timeless just how I like it! I can't wait to take it around with me to my pop ups! Thank you @signed.mimi I love it! by @signedbymimi_

Glass Soup- Lead and Light Camden. A day of glass, colour, light and inspiration. I visited Lead Light in Camden- Glass Soup- an exhibition bringing together the work of incredibly talented artists. Walking around, I felt so many things at once-inspired, excited, curiousā€¦ and honestly, a little humbled. There is something so beautiful about seeing what is possible with glass when it is shaped, layered, fired and pieced together with such imagination and skill. Iā€™m still very much finding my way with this medium, but exhibitions like this remind me why I fell in love with it in the first place. I left feeling inspired to learn more, experiment more and simply keep making. So much beauty under one roof. ā€œHow doth the little busy bee Improve each shining hour And gather honey all the day From opening every hourā€¦ā€ Part of a poem by Isaac Watts 1715. A little bumblebee sunshine. This piece was such a joy to make. I used beautiful confetti glass for the background, which catches the light and gives it a little extra sparkle. I hope you love this little bee as much as I loved making it. . . . . . . #stainedglassart #stainedglassdesign #bumblebeestainedglass #stainedglassdecor #stainedglass taken in London, United Kingdom by @signedbymimi_

ā€œLife is like a wild horse. You ride it or it rides youā€. This is one of the most meaningful pieces Iā€™ve ever made. A stained glass portrait of my son on a horse. It was created not to sell, but to keep in our home. I am still making the frame for it. I wanted to capture more than just a moment. I wanted to capture the feeling of freedom and quiet confidence. The joy he experiences when heā€™s with horses. Itā€™s his absolute favourite thing to do. Every piece of glass was carefully chosen to create movement and light and it helped bring the image to life. Like many of my pieces, it took weeks of planning, cutting and soldering before it was finally complete. This one will always remind me of him exactly as he is in this season of life. I hope you like it as much as I loved creating it. . . . . . . #traditionalstainedglass #stainedglassart #stainedglass #stainedglassdesign #stainedglasshorse taken in London, United Kingdom by @signedbymimi_

ā€œAerodynamically, the bumblebee shouldnā€™t be able to fly, but the bumble bee doesnā€™t know it so it goes on flying anyway.ā€ -Mary Kay Ash Not wood this timeā€¦ something a little different. This stained glass piece is one Iā€™ve wanted to create for a long time. Iā€™m obsessed with bumblebees, so it felt only right to finally bring one to life in glass. Itā€™s made from a combination of stained glass and kiln-fired glass paint. While there arenā€™t a huge number of individual pieces, there were plenty of awkward cuts, a few sacrificed bits of glass and several weeks of work to get it just right. Iā€™m so happy with how it turned out and I hope you love it as much as I loved making it. . . . . . #stainedglass #stainedglassart #stainedglassbumblebee #stainedglassdesign #stainedglasspainting taken in London, United Kingdom by @signedbymimi_

怌äø‰ę–¹ć‚ˆć—ć€- SanpoĢ„ yoshi ā€œGood for all three sides.ā€ Originating from the merchants of OĢ„mi in Japan, it means a business should be: * Good for the seller * Good for the buyer * Good for society This is often cited as a model of ethical and sustainable business, where kindness and fairness are not separate from success but part of it (I try to live by this). More than a sign, this sign reflects the spirit of SanpoĢ„ yoshi: business that benefits everyone it touches. Thoughtfully made to welcome, inspire, and connect. . . . . . . . #woodart #signage #businesssigns #reflective #customwoodart taken in London, United Kingdom by @signedbymimi_

Thereā€™s a Japanese legend that says: ā€œIf you get on the wrong train, get off at the nearest station, the longer it takes you to get off, the more expensive the return trip will be.ā€ ā€œTrust me, Iā€™m a doctor.ā€ Three simple words backed by years of study, sleepless nights, resilience and service. Alhamdulillah. Designed this 50cm sign for Bartā€™s and The London Student Association, featuring their iconic checkered border and the evolution of their coat of arms through the years. . . . . . #doctorsign #BLSA #barts #trustmeimadoctor #signage taken in London, United Kingdom by @signedbymimi_

ā€œNo matter how hot the fire burns, a Protea always survives.ā€ Not every flower tells a botanical story-some tell a human one. For this piece, I chose a protea instead of Congoā€™s national flower- Hevola waterlily. It is named after Proteus, the shape-shifting Greek god. The protea symbolises diversity, adaptability and transformation- qualities that resonate deeply with the Democratic Republic of the Congo, a nation shaped by hundreds of ethnic groups, languages, and cultural traditions. The protea is also one of the oldest flowering plant on Earth, renowned for its ability to survive wildfires, poor soil and severe droughts. That resilience makes it a powerful metaphor for the Congolese people, who have endured generations of conflict, resource exploitation and social upheaval while continuing to preserve their cultures, communities and hope for the future. This flower is not a botanical emblem of Congo, but a symbolic tribute to the strength, diversity, and enduring spirit of its people. ā€œā€¦the poppies will bloom again, and so too will our dreams.ā€ Tamsin Al-Akhal Part of my Stamp Collection Series, this handcrafted piece pays tribute to the poppy, the national flower of Palestine. Even in the harshest soil, the poppy rises. Itā€™s a symbol of survival, resilience, identity, and self-determination. From its stem to its petals, the flower reflects the colors of the Palestinian flag, carrying a story of endurance, hope and the unwavering belief that dreams can bloom again. . . . . . #StampCollection #NationalFlowers #CulturalHeritage #WoodArt #WoodenDecor #Handcrafted #ArtWithMeaning #FloralArt #Palestine #Poppy #Resilience #Hope #WoodenArt #StampCollection #homedecor #resilience #occupation #NationalFlowers #CulturalHeritage #WoodArt #WoodenDecor #ArtWithMeaning #FloralArt #Resilience #Hope #wanstead taken in London, United Kingdom by @signedbymimi_
