The black man world wide is feared by not only police but by people in a large number of societies because of the grisly, abominable depiction they have in the media. The media has failed to show positive images of black males and only emphasize the pessimistic plights of their life stories. When does the black man lose his cuteness or innocence to others in his lifetime? When does he start to look threatening and scary? Most black men on the contrary are intelligent, non- threatening powerful leaders who are to be respected by all means. #healtheworldchallenge #artbae

Big Win Today ✨
I had the honor of speaking about metacognition in the art classroom during our Professional Development Day to a room full of Elementary, Middle , and High school Art teachers .
Stepping into moments like this reminds me how far I’ve come and how powerful it is to use your voice to inspire others. Feeling proud, grateful, and energized for what’s next!

My wonderful 1st graders have brought their imaginations to life with their latest sculpture: “Rainbow Garden.” The garden is filled with whimsical mushroom houses. Each colorful corner is home to enchanted characters who are tiny beings that whisper stories of wonder and creativity. This vibrant world is more than just a sculpture,it’s a portal into the imagination of my talented students! 🥰

I’m so proud of my 3rd and 4th graders❤️
They were asked to recreate architecture seen in their neighborhoods by using recyclable goods and found objects : They killed it ! Amazing job 🥰
Their pieces were selected and showcased at the HirshhornMuseum 🥹
