I asked you all a few days back if this was an oil painting or real? This was actually a real view subhanAllah and people guessed right.

I remember how mesmerized I was that evening when the sky turned beautiful orange and pink. The view was so captivating and one of a kind that I stayed glued to the car window the whole time, doing snap snap! What a marvelous evening gift Allah swt gave us that day! SubhanAllah and Alhamdulillah

It's been raining here in Lahore since yesterday now. Thunders come and go. The winds shout and leave. And then comes the rain, hurling down towards the earth with a song unlike any waterfalls of earth can produce. Reading this ayah and connecting it with the live sounds of nature, does make you ponder over the 'sounds' produced before, during and after the arrival of the rain. And you do wonder, if that's also a part of the sign Allah wants you to reflect over.

Creation can be loud, too. But Allah swt spares us the noises, to protect our ears. We only hear what's bearable for our sensitive eardrums and within human capacity to listen to. Anything beyond what our body and soul can't bear, would have terrified us to death. Need an example to picture? Imagine a star being borne.

If everytime its death or creation sounds had reached your ears, you wouldn't have been able to take that sound, let alone its vibration. I think, our earth itself would have crumbled.

Surely in this is a sign for those who 'listen'.

Listen to the rain. This weather. This climate shift. For this atmosphere comes with a set of unique sounds and vibrations on our earth. Anyone who has been given ears gets to hear it all, without anything held back. It's not like people in Asia can hear but the Europe is denied this sign. Each continent receives its share of sign, in fairness. But how much does everyone process n ponder over its creation is what makes the difference in their experience. Experience of this sign.

The heavy rain outside has turned to drizzling. It's post fajr time here so every creature is slowly returning to life. The chirping birds, the crowing of the rooster, n the subtle, low murmuring sounds here and there. I can hear so much of the creation brought back to life by God in an instant! As it appears, waking up after a mini death (sleep) has its sounds, too.

The whole environment and the entire universe is full of different sounds & vibrations. We cannot hear everything. But whatever echo is given to us to ponder over by God Himself, we must remember: Our guidance is the whole point.

Can you now hear the sign?

No long explanations needed. It's a pretty simple reality: Everything reminds you of Him because everything belongs to Him.

ุจุณู… ุงู„ู„ู‡ ุงู„ุฑุญู…ู† ุงู„ุฑุญูŠู…
There is a scene in the famous movie "The Message" where the aftermath of Ghazwa Uhud shows a group of disbelieving people ridiculing the believing men. The Muslims are wounded, surprised, and naturally heartbroken over the setback. But they are shown patiently standing on top of a hill. In front of them lies a pool of men no longer alive, with arrows and swords embedded deep inside their flesh.

Some of these men are believers. Some of them are dead with no belief. Every dune is silent. The believers are confused - until a few horsemen from the kuffar re-enter the scene and a short but striking conversation takes place.

'A day for a day. The day of Uhud for the day of Badr. Our dead have answered to your dead.' The disbelievers scream and mock the believers standing at a distance. This was supposedly their consolation for the defeat they had faced at the battle of Badr.

But what the believers say next separates the two dead in time and spaceโ€”and it's a loud separation.

'Our dead-' a man from the top of the hill answers back in a blaring voice, '...are in Paradise! Your dead are in hellfire!!!'

The disbelievers fall silent. Their tongues are clipped short and held back. Their so-called perfect victory turns to pieces. Their argument of achievement dissolves. The horsemen look at each other as if they have just been slapped with a mere two sentences. They are clearly at a loss for words. And because this verbal defeat was unexpected, they quickly withdraw and ride off.

I still remember this scene so vividly to this day as if it is taking place right in front of me. A part of the Muslim struggle from the seerah that is deep and life-giving in times of setbacks. What we think and what the disbelievers think about a situation will always be a _realm-apart_ phenomenon, because it _really_ has a realm-apart outcome. Heaven and hell. Eternal comfort and eternal pain.

The awareness of this apartness is quite pivotal for inner strength. This is what gives courage & life to those who do not die in vain.

And Yahya Sinwar didn't die in vain.

Bismillah Ar Rahman Ar Raheem,

If I ever write a book on child psychology through a teacher's perspective, it would begin with this thought. And should you ever question, what's wrong with your little one, why isn't he/she responsding to a certain teacher or your command to write/study well, this ought to bring you out of darkness.

"A child never looks for a teacher. A child, (even our inner child) always and always, looks for a friend first. Someone safe, someone okay with the small steps, you know, because a child cannot make the giant leap. The legs are too small.

Even when we as adults look for a guide, we are deeply aware of being affected by their mannerisms. We want a wise mentor, a patient person, a bigger person to be honest, who can love us through our mistakes. Because we've got our honour to protect. The moment a senior grows weary of us, shows either impatience or ill manners, our minds register it as a threat.

What makes us think then, that the children would'nt care for what the teacher brings to their little & full of mistakes but a wondrous table? You're a PhD you say? Poof! Nope, go and stand in the corner. They don't welcome party poopers because their party has got rules. And they've honor, too. Big one!

They are an intelligent race, and many of them can sniff out a nice & safest person in a crowd quicker than the mice who sniff out cheese.

So, our best bet is to be for them what they want & need: The type of adult that can love them despite their silly mistakes. And laugh with them, through and through.

Be this and they'll follow you with hearts in their eyes. They'll follow you without any command and may I daresay, they would even happily accept the corrections you make on them because once the baseline has been set to see you as a friend and not a threat, their default would be 'i love you'. They'll follow you out of love just like we, once followed our mothers as toddlers, from room to room.

And boy! how much they loved us back, n allowed us to be imperfect, adorable little monsters โค๏ธ

One of my Qur'anic sciences teachers who listens to my recitation, surprises me greatly. She's a Tajweed Sciences Expert. I wanted to know about her schedule once, as I am curious about the planning method of almost every single teacher of mine. So asking her about the number of classes she takes in a day, was quite an obvious question.
Did I mention she is the most senior among my teachers in terms of age? So you, too would now think 2-3 hours daily might be her upper limit.

"I take 9 classes in a day, on average", she answered.

As I heard this, I felt someone had put a scotch tape on my lips, n poured a bucket of cold water over my head.

Dear God..2-3 hours was understandable. I expected to hear exactly this. But to find out she spends 9 hours daily on average, listening to the Qur'an recitation from women across the globe, it left me speechless. Speechless, because it requires a great amount of patience to attentively listen to someone recite for an hour long. Let alone 9 hours of this, with patient mentoring & coaching.

I am in utter awe of her dedication to ilm. This post is a testament to that. And yes, mashaAllah, the resilience! How many of us actually even like the idea of dedicating more than 2 hours to community work in a single day? Most of us do it once a week. But this is her 2-in-1 work & ibadah schedule. Something she does effectively on purpose. Look at the ripple effects she has created. I'm one of them.

When I think about who she is as a person, I realise she is a sign of Allah (swt), just like you & me. A sign that speaks of His excellence & goodness in astounding ways.

And for this, I owe her a lot.

I don't think I ever want to stop reciting Qur'an to her, even when I've completed my project. She is someone through whom Allah eased into my life a lot of Nur in recitation, with life changing transformation. So my bond with her is quite beyond the normal student-teacher. It is spiritual & heartful.

Let's pray for this amazing person. ๐Ÿคฒ
May Allah (swt) continue to bless her, keep her healthy, grant her endless happy rewards in both the worlds for the work she does. Ameen.

Ever wondered why do the flies move away so quickly when you try to hit them? And how come the chipmunks are so fabulously fast that we can't even keep up with their movements? To our eyes, they appear to be super quick.

It's a wonder!

The answer to this lies in our understanding of the concept of time. And time my friends, is currency.

๐Ÿ”Ž๐Ÿ”Ž๐Ÿ”Ž

How?
According to science, time perception depends entirely on how quickly one's brain can discern the incoming flow of information, such as light and images from the outer world. And the brains of some creatures in our world are wired this way, to receive the flow of information, a little differentlty. To experience time, a little differently, despite sharing the same dimension and space with us.

SubhanAllah.

It is then a super power given to some creatures by their Creator. The smaller they are, the faster they can detect the scene.

A flash of light may confuse you and me. But to chipmunks, flies & lizards? Nope. They view us all moving in slow motion as we try to catch them with the best speed from our end, but repeatedly, fail.

These are the signs of Allah (swt), from His attributes and works of being Al Lateef, The Subtle, & Al Musawwir, The Bestower of Forms.

He creates things with great precision, mindbending attention to details & fascinating functions. When He shapes them with unique takes and installs features of wonder, it is for a reason. For He awards them the sense of time, as per their place in this dunya; their challenges. That is how, He bestows each type of creature; uniqueness.

If the fly ๐Ÿชฐ you can't catch today, suddenly begins to feel 'time' as you do, it wouldn't be able to view you as a slow motion old movie.

If the squirrels ๐Ÿฟ and chipmunks who pass you by like a lightening bolt could slow down to your movements, you'll be able to literally enjoy with them, a very slow evening walk.

But that's not how they are designed. And that's not the kind of flow they live in.

Isn't it fascinating, how an invisible veil separates our time experience?

SubhanAllah, by this standard, time and space is literally in the eye of the beholder. by @signsofallahswt

Human beings, We created you all from a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes so that you may know one another. Verily the noblest of you in the sight of Allah is the most God-fearing of you. Surely Allah is All-Knowing, All-Aware.

Qur'an (49:13)

Bismillah Ar Rahman Ar Raheem

Few minutes ago, as I strolled in our courtyard this morning, looking at the beauty of the greens in my surroundings, I noticed a new plant with its beautiful yellow & green lined leafs, looking back at me, smiling. You can just tell by the way things look at you, whether they are inviting or hostile. This plant, was definitely smiling like a new born baby who had just woken up to a bright new day, and was equally delighted to see me standing in its vicinity.

Right next to it, stood palm leafs, strong and sturdy.

A little to its right, another of its relative. And to the left, Jasmine.

They all are plants; green, water based, & sun requiring, that grow from the same soil. Is this a sign for me?

They share the same home, same lawn, same garden, same earth, and they recognise each other through their differences. They honor these God created differences.

They don't fight, nor hate. I don't see them calling the flowers & talents of another: an anamoly, or a reason for apprehension, jealousy, inferiority, superiority. They reach out to each other with branches extended.

They fully accept the place of another with Allah & acknowledge that they are all created by One Divine Being: Allah, Al Aleem

Take a moment today & reflect if you might be creating a barrier between you & God by denying the place of another human with Allah or looking down on them for the way they are different from you. by @signsofallahswt

I am dedicating this post to every person out there who has been gaslighted into believing their existence is purposeless. To a dear friend especially. May you see the Light of God, in the veins of your body that He has perfectly created, not to be destroyed bit by bit by someone unwilling to see your worth, but to be cherished and used for His purpose.

For Him, your plight absolutely matters. Your duas are heard. You are special. For you have always been His khalifa on earth.
